About this property

Spacious vacation townhome unit with a pool

One of the "3W" towns, Weston is Boston Metro area's most prestigious neighborhood which is centrally located with only <30 min to downtown Boston, with easy access to major highways, commuter rail stations and many local universities, etc.

Next to a beautiful woodsy park, this is a spacious (~2000 sqft) secondary unit (like one of Duplex townhouse units in a structure, half of a big house) which has its own private entry/exit.

Outdoor pool in the yard is open from June to September [no lifeguard!].

There are backyard chickens so if you'd like, host can provide some farm fresh eggs. -:)

The space
Make every night a movie night with full HD projector, 100 inch screen and room filling sound!

1st Floor:
Full Kitchen with all essential appliances and filtered drinking water; A generous great room and a dining area; A bedroom with a queen bed and a private bathroom with shower and a compact washer/dryer setup; There is another bathroom with shower.

2nd Floor: a bedroom with a queen bed; a bedroom with 2 twin beds. (note both bathrooms are on the 1st floor)

Guest access
Please access the unit through the gate to the yard. You can access the entire vacation unit as well its deck.

You are welcome to swim in the pool when it is open during the summer. Note there is no life guard.

Parking:
Garage is not accessible, so please park on the parking spaces for the vacation unit which is perpendicular to the garage. Or you can park on the street opposite to the mailbox. Please do not park immediately in front of the garage doors or block the circular drive way.

The living area was spacious and clean.Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean.The kitchen contained all the basics needed to cook and serve meals. The host was great and responded to communications in a very timely manner. We did not use the pool in late October. The area was beautiful with fall foliage and nearby hiking trail.

Great large space for gathering!

We enjoyed our stay at Scott's place! Very spacious with a lot of room for entertaining. The kids loved the large movie screen for movie night and the library. The beds were comfy and rooms large. It is a beautiful home and was right next door to a nature trail. Highly recommend! Thanks Scott!

Property is attached to owner's residence. Floorplan is a but unusual - 2 BR upstairs but bath main floor. Odd light switches. Very quiet and adjoins nature preserve. Could use some improvements: luggage racks, dressing mirrors, better and more towels, twin mattresses upgraded, more complete kitchen (only omelet pan and minimal utensils). Owner provided some coffee pods and fresh eggs. Pool is pleasant but not heated. No close groceries.

Weston getaway

Scott was a great host. Gave us a tour of the house,gave us a list of places to visit. Grocery stores, shopping, food and treated us with the best hospitality. Wifi access, and the projector with surround sound was awesome to watch movies with the guys after a long day at work. The park next to the house was amazing when the snow was falling. Overall great place,location and Scott we will definitely come back and see you. Highly recommend the stay here. 5 stars. Thank you for everything.

Great Rental

Our family of 5 adults enjoyed this clean and spacious rental unit at the end of a quiet dead-end street adjacent to a 130 acre park with walking trails in Weston. There are 3 comfortable bedrooms, two baths and a large open common space which serves as a reasonably equipped kitchen, family room and dining room. The hosts surprised us with a dozen fresh eggs laid by the chickens that live in the back yard, which were delicious. A practical note, the coffee making technology is a Keurig coffee maker and some coffee is provided. We bought some ground coffee before we arrived and wound up not using it and giving it away to the people we were visiting.

Lovely Stay

The location is just as listed. It's in a perfect location for visiting Boston and other locales. There is a subway station in Riverside about 10-12 minute drive that we parked at for the day and then used the subway to get around Boston. Salem was a 30-40 minute drive. And Portland, Maine was about a 2 hour drive. The neighborhood is lovely and the preserve is literally steps from the driveway. Nice walking/hiking trails and very dog friendly. The property itself was very quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed having my coffee and breakfast every morning on the deck. The hosts communicated exceptionally during our stay. They were very quick to respond and reach out. Very respectful and kind. We had plenty of plates, silverware, cups, etc for my family of 5. We were provided coffee, plenty of TP, napkins, and cleaning supplies which surprised me as the other rentals I have stayed usually only give you enough for one day or so. And there was plenty of room for us with a reliable wi-fi connection. It felt like a home while we were there. And the window seat is PERFECT for napping :) We would definitely stay here again !
