Beach Retreat - Completely Renovated!!Half Duplex, WIFI/TV,1mile to Beach.

This home makes a great vacation rental due to its location West of the Trail and only 0.9 miles to the beach. Many great restaurants and shops are close enough to walk. It is centrally located on the Gulf Coast only 10 minutes south of Sarasota and very close to Osprey, Venice and Englewood, about 30 min to Pt Charlotte and 50 min to Cape Coral / Ft Myers. This area and home did not get damage from hurricane Ian and the home is all newly renovated and updated with all new furnishings and electronics. Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and coolers are on site and the home is well stocked for a comfortable stay. Laundry is on site and indoors.

This is half a duplex, privately spaced from the other side, but if an additional space is needed or you wanted to winter with family or friends the 1/1 sleeps 2 comfortably. Listing # 3155367 to book unit B.

Winter Getaway

Family trip

We are thinking about making a big move to the area. This house was in a great neighborhood and location! We were able to bike everywhere, the beach, restaurants, etc! It was perfect for us!

Fun in the sun!

Terrific 2br! Clean, updated, well appointed!

This duplex was a fantastic place for me, my wife, my son, and his wife over Thanksgiving. It's in a terrific location, convenient to the beach, shopping, and downtown Venice. The place is modern, well appointed, clean, spacious, and really comfortable - and we really appreciate that they allow pets! The owner is very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort and convenience!

wonderful beach getaway

The property was very clean. We were furnished with everything we needed: towels, linens, paper products, kitchen utensils, and even spices. We enjoyed being close to Nokomis Beach and the Legacy Bike Trail. Our host responded immediately to all questions or needs we had. We had a wonderful vacation!

A True GEM

The house was in a perfect location. Walk across the bridge and Nokomis Sunset Hut is right there or across the street Captain Eddie's, for seafood lovers it is perfect. The house was spotless with every little kitchen gadget we needed. Ken was the best host we have ever had through VRBO. We would not hesitate to rent it again or suggest it to friends and relatives.

3/4 block from rte 41 a 6 lane busy hiway, could hear traffic in large bedroom particular.

very clean, updated decor nice, laundry good but in rear need go around to rear of houset to get to. Had difficulty with electronic lock and ken 1st week difficult to get hold of, on communications I had with vrbo they his phone # . Would not stay again, priced maybe about right if things went better , but not for me for repeat rental. Ken helpful and nice guy owner/manager after difficult period to get hold of. Traffic 3/4 block away somewhat a distraction.

Great Find

This property was a great find! The inside is newly remodeled, tastefully decorated, and clean. The owner was prompt and polite with communication. Many "extras" were provided ensuring a pleasurable stay. The owner was thoughtful in providing beach chairs, towels, and even cooler bags that we could use! The property was a great size for a family of 4 and could probably have added another easily. It had great storage for all of our luggage. Although it was located in more of a community setting, it was close to beaches and restaurants. I would recommend this property to others, and I plan to stay again in the future.

Brand new property, very clean, very cozy!

This was our first visit to the area so we took a stab in the dark at location, turns out we choose very well. This property is well situated between downtown Venice and the beaches, it was a 5-minute drive to anything we needed. Everything is brand new in the space, the bedrooms were perfect for my husband and I and our guests being on opposite sides of the house. The beds and bedding were all very comfortable. We prepared our own breakfast and lunch and there was nothing lacking; the kitchen was fully stocked all we needed to bring was food. This property is pet friendly which was super important to us, plenty of space to walk the dog in the yard. We will definitely be back to visit and are excited about staying at this property again.

Unreliable host

Pros: The property was clean and in a nice location. It was beautifully decorated and had all the essentials. The neighborhood was quiet and super close to the beach. Cons: The keyless door lock was touchy and ended up locking us out. The owner was unreliable and unresponsive. We checked into a hotel just minutes before getting access to the house again through another contact. We spent hours trying to get into the house and to our stuff. I’m thankful we ended up not bringing our dog with us, because it could have been worse. The shower is tiny and water gets all over the floor. Also, the water is so salty you can’t drink it.

Everything was perfect!

Wow! This property has everything you need for a fun beach getaway! First, everything was so clean. The place had tons of towels for both the beach and shower. The kitchen had enough dishes and glasses as well as updated appliances. The beds were very comfortable! There were beach chairs to use for the beach. There were so many beaches close by. Our favorite beach was Nokomis which was so close. They have a fun drum circle that you need to check out on Wednesday nights while watching the sunset. Finally, Ken was amazing to deal with! We had a fantastic vacation!

I do not live on site, both sides of this duplex are vacation rentals, but I am relatively close if needed.

What makes this property unique

Being a duplex, this home can be rented one side or both sides. The second side is a 1/1 with futon in living room so can sleep 2 plus guest. It's 1 full bath, full kitchen, living room and office and can be seen at listing number on this site. Ideal for friends or family wanting to both come down but have separate space. The units don't join anywhere so are completely separate (so kids would need adults on each side for example).
Coastal contemporary design and light and bright inside. Well stocked, with tv in each room, and designed for your comfort and enjoyment while you relax in your home away from home in the sunshine.
