I can honestly say that this was the best house that I have ever stayed in. My friends and I were in love with it. The open floor plan, the rooms, and the pool. Waking up and going outside just to enjoy the nature was amazing. My friends and I even got to see monkeys while staying here. When we arrived, everything was spotless. One of the best parts, was that the host was very sincere and was very attentive. There was something that I could not figure out, and the host was more than happy to help. I could not have asked for a better host! Thank you.

Missing tiles in the hot tub prevented us from using. The house is starting to show its age needing a lot of mini repairs. Plumbing was an issue with no water on one day and the shower drain being plugged which caused a flood. The concierge service was very good and they handled excursions, spa treatments and chef services efficiently. All in all we had a great time but the house should be maintained a little better. The pictures are old and outdated so go with that in mind

Beautiful Jungle Widlife Retreat!

Great location! Five minute drive to Tamarindo beach and the city action! The home is a very nice architectural designed spacious villa! We had monkeys above and hummingbirds visit daily. The pool was excellent to cool off and in a beautiful garden setting. Very safe and gated. We will be back. Thank You!

Loved it here. Ultra modern design but also very comfortable. Outdoor area was our favorite along with the hammock hanging inside. Listening to birds, seeing the monkeys and the iguana was special, especially for our kids. Distance from town along with the surrounding foilage made it feel secluded. The short distance to town which was easy to accomplish on a golf cart was very convenient. Renting a golf cart versus a car was easier to do and easier to get around. Host uses a concierge service to arrange anything you may need. Concierge service made everything easy.

this place was insane!! From the fantastic open spaces, the lovely pool, and the unlimited wildlife that surrounded the home, it was all my family could have hoped for. Far enough away from Taramindo to feel isolated but close enough to get anywhere in 5 minutes. I highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Exactly what I wanted

I wanted to be close to Tamarindo, Very Clean, Modern, and with lots of friendly wilderness(monkeys and iguanas). Rooms were cool at night, Fridge cooking abilities, Quality linens, Great layout, Secluded. We rented a UTV(side by side) from Rent ME! We came and went as we pleased. I recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to town but in a Jungle setting. Host was attentive to all text through out the trip.

We loved this house. It was beautiful. Any questions or concerns were answered quickly. There was some ants present, but a littlw bit of baby powder helped! But when your in the jungle its to be expected. We had monkies every morning! I cant say anything negative about our stay!

Cleanliness and Great Service from Staff

Pictures of the house are accurate. One mile to downtown Tamarindo- super easy drive. Had a small issue with one of the air conditioning unit's and they had it fixed in 1/2 hour. Don't worry about the noises outside - the noises are just the little monkeys hanging out in the trees outside the house. Great service and great spot. I would highly recommend!

Modern Home 5 minute Drive from Tamarindo

The house was what we expected based on the information provided in the VRBO listing. The master bedroom was quite large with a nice ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom was slightly smaller with plenty of space. The large open space in the kitchen and dining area was great for socializing and entertaining. There were different levels in the house (stairs/steps) that elders/toddlers should watch out for.We really enjoyed the pool and the isolation away from the Tamarindo beach area. It was peaceful and private. Nice break from all the action but close enough (5-minute drive) to bars and restaurants. There were monkeys and iguanas on the property which was great to see.Overall, this was a very nice home and we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful modern home just minutes from everything

We absolutely loved the property. It’s literally 3 minute drive into Tamarindo so everything is very close yet you still get privacy away from the noise and crowds. The property management team was very responsive, friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful with a nice pool in the backyard for relaxing after a hot day in town. It has all the amenities one would need. We’re considering a return vacation to Tamarindo and would love to stay here again. On another plus note: there’s a baby lizard who lives in the house that we named Raul. If you’re staying there, treat him well

Wonderful home in Tamarindo

The house is beautiful and nicely laid out for a group. Modern architecture and picturesque setting. Very comfortable seating areas and bedrooms. The pool was great to come back to after a day of adventure. Kitchen has basic dishes and equipment. The hot tub was not actually able to use as a hot tub and the fire pit wasn’t ready for use. The back yard has lots of bugs and we got bit up even if just stepping out without it spray. Greatlocation - short drive to town and beach.

Good Memories

Very good home. Lots of natural light. Contemporary design. Need to be ok with spiders and giant grasshoppers, but that is the nature of such a lush and green area of Costa Rica. Helena was amazing as the property manager and instantly addressed any questions and or minor issues. Everything was very good. FYI - the third bedroom is very small and needs photos added in the listing. The coffee maker needs to be replaced. Two hours for 8 cups. No dishwasher, but no problem washing dishes with very good setup for that. Great living room area with large flat screen TV. Grill is new and excellent for nights eating in. Very close to town .8 miles away. 5 adults had a great stay. All were happy. Thanks.

Beautiful little house, close to Tamarindo

We had a great stay. But... We did encounter scorpions, in the house, multiple times. Pretty scary for us. Apparently this might not be a big deal in Costa Rica. But I think it's good to know before going. We also had a bunch of biting ants that were streaming into the house through a hole in the wall one night. Yikes!!! And there was a very nasty ground bee nest by the pool. We managed through all of this but it was as bit of a surprise and I might have liked to know before going...

Too bad...

While the house is well located and originally beautiful it is unfortunately poorly maintained and cleaned. We are used to staying in the jungle and we are totally fine with wild life, insects etc... However this was totally out of control, one of the rooms was unusable due to an ant invasion (beds inside and out everywhere),we also found a large scorpion in the master bedroom. Also communication was disappointing. Very slow to answer and unresponsive on their concierge group chat, we never got any response regarding losing a bedroom to the ants and more.

Beautiful house with scary creatures

Our group of 5 really loved the house with pool. The street was closed due to cons and we had to walk to reach the house, but for future guests will be no problem. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed and washer and dryer was a plus. The morning after we arrived there was lots of aunts and a big scorpion in the shower. There was a frog/toad inside the toilet every morning. I called the host manager and I advised him that we followed all his instructions regarding leaving all windows and doors closed to avoid any creatures from entering the house . ( My brave mother in law did the deed of killing the fellow since after all the house is situated in a small arborist hill). The next morning another scorpion visited us again in the bathroom. I wish the host would have fumigated the house prior to our arrival, otherwise I would rent the house again.

Awesome Jungle/Beach Getaway

My wife and I just spent a week here with another couple and it was amazing. The house is in a very safe and secluded area with a gate. The house is incredible like the pictures. The thing that really made this worth it was the Host and Concierge. The host welcomed us on day 1 and was available via phone for assistance the entire week (WiFi and Water temporarily went out which can't be uncommon in CR, but Host arranged repairs nearly immediately). The concierge scheduled transfers to and from the airport and arranged a golf cart to be at the house. Them arranging everything prior to arrival was so nice to not stress doing it ourselves. I was worried about some of the reviews mentioning bugs and critters but we never really had issues with that that we didn't expect (occasional ants or other common bugs like anywhere else). Good: Private jungle feel but close to beach, monkeys climbing around trees on property! House is amazing as pictures show Concierge/Host/Entire team and accommodations Awesome pool to enjoy during down time/Hangout areas for games/movies House stayed cool with good A/C & Fans which was uncommon most places in Tamarindo. Not great: Location would be a really lengthy walk to the beach. We were glad we got a golf cart, which was an easy drive Hot tub didn't get hot, however jets did work We absolutely loved the stay and will definitely book again if we go back to Tamarindo! Pura Vida!

Les 3 chambres, le salon, la cuisine et salles de bain étaient propres. Le spa pleins deTuiles éparpillées aux alentours. Nous étions 4 mais juste 2 chaises longues avec coussins qui manquaient pas mal d’amour ouf. 3 autres chaises de parterre non confortables. À notre arrivée l’évier de cuisine bouché. L’air climatisé était à chaleur. Le disjoncteur d’eau chaude était à off. Ils ont dû nous envoyer un technicien pour réparer l’air climatisé. Il n’y a pas de grille pain n’y de four conventionnel. Environ 5 minutes en voiture du centre de Tamarindo. Ne pouvions pas prendre des marches car trop dangereux. À côté d’une route secondaire, un peu désagréable quand les camions lourds doivent décompresser bruyant. À la fin nous avons demandé un léger rabais et la réponse a été la suivante vous avez débloqué l’évier et repartis le disjoncteur et c’est normal quand il y a un changement de locataire mais nous vous avons répondu rapidement. 2 jours de douches froides. Des senteurs et dégâts à déboucher l’évier… Très déçus pour le prix.
