Newly Remodeled in winter of 2022. This is a 5 Bedroom/6 Bed home that accommodates up to 12 people. We are family friendly and dog friendly.

Great home and great location!

House was great and held everyone comfortably. Hot tub was wonderful and the entertainment area was awesome to relax in after soaking in the hot tub - pool table, TVs, bar area - lots of fun! Breakfast two mornings at the clubhouse was excellent, and the views are beautiful!

Wonderful home and view!

Nice, clean home, decorated well for the holidays. We enjoyed the two levels to separate the kiddos from others. It was so nice have a pool and hot tub. Thank you for having the home decorated and all the extra towels, linens and coffee. We appreciated our stay. Thank you!

The Hangout

House was very convenient for 10 family members to spend the week. Open space and the large dining table was extremely convenient. Enjoyed mornings sitting on the deck. Property owner was very helpful and responded quickly to texts. Very comfortable and great value. Lives up to what's advertised!

Great stay!

We had a good time staying here. We did not realize that there was only one bathroom upstairs for 3 bedrooms that accommodated 4 adults and 4 kids, so that was a bit of a challenge. We appreciated the welcome gift, stocked game cabinet, and the host's quick and helpful communication.

A Wonderful Getaway Weekend

We arrived on Thursday to The Hangout and had a wonderful 3.5 days enjoying Galena. Communication from the host was excellent - the information shared was communicated concisely and really enhanced our stay, the digital guidebook was great. Special call out for the Host keeping an eye on some inclement weather and making sure we knew where to take cover if necessary (thankfully we did not need to)! The property was in great condition - clean, well furnished, and fun for all ages. We enjoyed swimming at the Owner’s Club, playing pool, using the hot tub, along with enjoying the tvs in the basement after our kids had gone to bed for the night. Downtown Galena is a short drive away and has something for everyone to enjoy. We will certainly be back - an easy 5/5 stars for The Hangout!

The house seemed like it had not been cleaned after the last stay. My personal bed sheets had a big stain. The floor had spill marks all over. There was hair all over. The floors did not seem like they had been swept. The counter tops downstairs were very dusty and sticky.

We had 8 people staying. There was plenty of room. The house was immaculate, plenty of kitchen options, hot tub was awesome and Jess was awesome to work with. Communication through the whole process was amazing. Definately will be back to stay when we are in area again!! Exceeded our expectations!

Hideout Family Weekend

Jess, the property manager was great to deal with as we had booked this very last minute. We decided to meet up and have a family Christmas, as our mother passed away earlier this year and she liked the holidays, especially Christmas. Baking and cooking were just a small part or her legacy. Check-in was seamless, the property is very much what is advertised spacious enough for our family of 9, two couples and 5 kids ages from 11-22. Outfitted with all you could need, almost like home. We were able to relax, visit and celebrate the reason for our get together. We will definitely try to do this again and this property will be on our first look list.

Beautiful House Near Galena

I organized a retreat with a few girlfriends and could not have hosen a better place to stay! The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The host was very communicative and sent information on the area in advance so that we could take advantage of all the things to do in the area. The kitchen was well appointed and although we ate out most of the time, it would have had everything needed to prepare meals for a crowd. The beds were all comfortable and exactly as pictured. The jacuzzi was clean and heated to a perfect temperature. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great location

It was definitely a perfect size for 7 of us. Amazing/calming view off the back deck. (The showerheads were a little lack-luster but they did the job). It was a very comfortable home with all the amenities that we needed. Wonderful that we were able to bring our standard poodle. GREAT walking trails all around. My only negative was how dark it was when we arrived. With no lights on, guests must be made aware of the parking. Perhaps installing time switches on the front light or going further with 'smart home' technology which can be controlled by smart phones.

Perfect Hangout for Office Staff Get Away

This property worked out perfect for our event. The house was beautiful, new and well appointed. Had everything we needed. Great location, great outdoor space for games and chilling around the fire pit. Great TV set up for those that had to watch the Football games. Would go back anytime. Owners were easy to deal with.

Family Trip

Fun family hangout!

The Hangout was perfect for our extended family weekend getaway. Grandparents, parents, and the little kids (4-10) had a great time with plenty of room for our group of 10. With a nice big dinner table everyone had a seat for meals. The outdoor area is nice with plenty of spots by the firepit. A ton of TVs, a pool table, and a cornhole set for outside. Not to mention access to the Galena Territory Owners Club is included, which had a pool, arcade, and other amenities the kids loved. Owners made everything super easy. Would definitely come back.
