Directly across Hwy 90 from the Atchafalaya at Idlewild Public Golf Course, with a Cypress built Country Club and Cajun style Restaurant, There is always activity at the Kemper Williams Park, plus the chance to visit the State-owned Wedell-Williams Aviation and the Cypress Sawmill Museums. There is plenty to do around here !! Come See for Yourself and Enjoy Life on da Bayou !! The cottage is wonderful! The entire estate is filled with a remarkable history with stories waiting to be shared. I felt welcome the moment that I arrived And it quickly felt like home away from home. I left wishing that I could stay longer.

More than a get away ... it's an adventure!
Historic riverfront property with easy access to the highway and nearby attractions. Be sure to dine at the Atchafalaya Restaurant at the Idlewild Golf Course. The highlight of our trip was a guided swamp tour with Captain Caviar- beware the alligators and roogaroos!!!
