Located on 20 acres of lush, Louisiana land - you will find yourself immersed in the richness and beauty of the Southern Louisiana landscape. A private road will lead you to your secluded destination -“Twin Oaks-Barn Apartment” tucked amidst the 100+ year old oak and cypress trees. Gaze at the egrets roaming the field in the morning as you sip a cup of coffee in the breakfast nook. Or sit a spell under the oaks and take in a beautiful sunset, in the evening soundscape of cicadas.

This fully renovated, one-bedroom suite sleeps up to 6 adults, 1 Queen / 2 Full Sofa sleepers, full dining, 2 living rooms, 1 bath/shower; has stackable washer/dryer, 2 TVs and outside patio. Security cameras.
There is parking on site. If you are feeling hungry - grab a bite to eat at the “corner store” café. There is a lil' something for everybody. I highly recommend their po’boys, breakfast biscuits and pizzas.

15 minutes from Amelia Belle Casino Boat (docked)

25 minutes East of Houma/Thibadeaux and 25 minutes West of Morgan City

Centrally located 45 – 60 min from New Orleans (French Quarter), Baton Rouge (Capital /Southern / LSU / Zoo) and Lafayette/ New Iberia (World Famous Tabasco Plant). Be sure to check out our personally customized "Things To Do" binder.

Please do not walk beyond the posted signs. Property is bordered by bayou that does contain alligators.

It was beautiful out in the country, host answered very quickly and friendly. We didn’t realize it was two rentals connected in one building, but there were no other renters at the time so no issues there. It was very quiet but not too far to drive to get anything you may need. Very little to no cell service, but wifi available as soon as you check in. We really enjoyed our stay!
