Why they chose this property
I bought this property when the pandemic seemed to linger indefinitely. I wanted to continue to have family vacations even though getting on a plane again seemed out of reach. The house was almost perfect. I added a few things I thought were essential when you want to truly enjoy a home:
> A fence in the front and in the back for safety
> Cameras in the front for security.
> A Sonos sound system that plays in the family room area, kitchen and pool (when so desired). Easy to follow instructions on how to join the system are provided.
> A heated pool with a large wading area
> A tandem kayak for exploring the mangroves
> A Weber grill in the terrace
> Rocking chairs on the terraces to enjoy the views
> Insulated artificial grass on the roof - to cool the house, for early morning yoga, and to truly enjoy the sunsets
We still get in the car and go to Founder's Park often. It is seldom crowded and they have a great playground next to the beach. The coastline is shallow and the seas are calm, so it's a great place for the little ones. Theater of the Sea always delights the kids and so does the Wild Bird Sanctuary.
The location is ideal: lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. One thing that gives me peace of mind: Mariner's Hospital, part of the Baptist Health System, is only 1.5 miles away - in case we ever had an emergency.
And yes, nothing feels better than opening the door to this home and disconnecting after a long week at work.

What makes this property unique
All the furniture is new and of Italian design.
There is a play kitchen with refrigerator, sink and stove at the entrance with toy food, pots and pans, and two boxes of Picasso Tiles for endless entertainment.
There are several games in the master closet for family enjoyment
There is a small bookcase upstairs with a small selection fiction, non-fiction, and children's books (we call this the library) with a sofa (converts into a queen-size bed) and a recliner to enjoy the afternoons reading and looking at the water.
There is also an 'office' - a built-in piece of furniture with a desk that converts into a queen-size bed - for those who have to do homework or want a place to hide with their laptop.
The TV room is at the entrance to the three upstairs bedrooms and has a large flat-screen TV and access to HBO plus, Disney Plus, Netflix, Prime Video, and others.
