Beautiful views from the main living room/dining area/kitchen, as well as both bedrooms! Big windows will make you never want to miss a sunrise! Has all the amenities. We took advantage of the spa for nighttime star gazing. It's very close to the national park, as well as restaurants and shops. Eddie was very attentive and helpful. We definitely want to stay there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Such a gorgeous view and a great location close to the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Our host provided everything we needed and was great with communication. Hope to come back when the weather is cooler.

This place is excellent, including its location, the views, and the details that are kept up throughout, which include timed outside lights, an expresso machine, great record player and sound, tons of spices and kitchen basics, and a strong AC system. Our family group of three had a great 5 days. The owner/manager is on top of things, checked in with us via email, and was a pleasure

3 nights at Casa Altura

This property was perfect for our party of 4 (2 couples) while we visited Joshua Tree. No fighting over the best bedroom because they are both very similar, each with it’s own bathroom. The kitchen and living areas are spacious and light with large windows looking out over the desert. Loved the hot tub and pool too. And a convenient proximity to the National park. Best restaurant around was Kitchen in the Desert, 18 mins away. Great food and vibe. Would stay here again!

Secondly, the area has a rich history and cultural significance, with several sacred Native American sites and a thriving arts community. Additionally, the peaceful and quiet atmosphere of Joshua Tree offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, allowing me to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature. Lastly, the wide variety of outdoor activities available in the area, from hiking and rock climbing to stargazing and photography, make it an ideal destination for anyone looking to experience the beauty of the outdoors.
