In town to visit our son and experience the rodeo. Location was convenient to our son, downtown and walkable to the rodeo venue or to the shuttle bus if used. Air conditioner worked well, a concern my husband had. Only downside is you can hear the street noise well into the night.
The property was perfect. We had everything we needed. It was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. It was super close to cute shops and delicious food. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit.
The home was cozy and very clean! The beds were comfortable, Communication with Scott was great he responded right away. We ate at Tokyo station that’s just a few blocks over! Definitely will be staying again next time we are in town!

Standard Property, easy access to downtown Ogden
Property was standard, didn’t know the laundry room was common with the adjoining unit. A few cobwebs, which is understandable maybe due to vacancy prior to arrival. Excellent appliances, clean kitchen and bathroom. Linen supply was above average/standard. I liked the porch light to luminate your vehicle at night. Mattresses were lacking sufficient support. The extension cords and other creature comforts made it fun staying in a historical property. Value for money is just above average.
The unit was clean and as advertised. Great location near all activities in Ogden, getting around town from here was super easy. We noted that a few light bulbs were out, but didn't report it while we were there as we were out of the unit more hours per day than we were in it due to our activities and we were able to shift working light bulbs from other rooms/devices to "make do". I have no doubt Scott would have responded promptly had we reported it. Check-in was a breeze, we MUCH preferred having an actual key versus the touchpad which can often prove troublesome on VRBO units. We struggled to sleep in the beds, which is probably more about our body aches/pains, and ended up sleeping on the couches (which were comfy). As someone who cooks alot while we are travelling, the kitchen could use a few more accoutrements but it was workable. We would love to see a K-cup type coffee maker as that is easy breezy and would allow for travelers to take any unused coffee they bought home with them. One other small note is that the amenities section states that shampoo/soap are provided, but we found that those products were almost fully gone when we checked in. We bought product and left it there.

House is cute but in a weird area close to apartments. The location is very close to downtown and we used it for the Ogden Marathon and it was a short walk back and forth.
The car traffic was VERY noisy! It was actually hard to believe how consistently and late the noise went. We had to turn white noise on very loud to drown it out.
House is updated with shared walls with other unit. Directions said to use lockbox but we needed to use the keypad. There were no instructions on how to lock the door (hold any button for 3 seconds). We needed to look up the lock online to figure it out.
Couldn’t use wifi because we didn’t know which wifi network to login to. Password was provided but not the network.
Provided bath towels were very small.
The house was comfortable (despite some ants in the bathroom).
Price was great. Beds were clean & comfy.

Memorial Day weekend
Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend with my husband a two girls. We arrived and the outside wasn’t what I thought. There was leftover flooring on the outside table, and what looks like it rained on them, there was an old blanket and some trash. The key pad to get in wasn’t working, thankfully Scott did answer and we got the code to the actual key box. Walking into the house it was super cute. When you walked into the living room you could tell it needed dusting and the couches were used and the one needed cleaned. One corner of the living, the floor was not cleaned and there were ants. Both bedrooms were ok, beds were clean, but there were ants on the floor as well. A towel in the bathroom wasn’t cleaned and had spots in it. I don’t really understand the cleaning deposit due to guests needing to strip the beds and start the dish washer, when the house wasn’t really clean itself. Maybe that’s my bad, I must have not read it when booking.

We’re sorry to hear this wasn’t as clean as it should have been. The cleaners must have been distracted that week. We have had an excellent track record with guests until this point. Thanks for staying with us!

Disappointing + filthy
The door to our unit was unknowingly unlocked, and when I punched in the code, it locked, and would not re-open. The owner (thankfully) answered the phone & was able to to get us in by providing a lockbox code. I have never left a poor review, but this place was NOT clean. The floor was filthy. The living room was unusable because one sofa looked like it was from a frat house & the other one smelled like it was from a frat house. One comforter had a questionable stain on it. The shower had someone else's hair in it, and the bathroom floor had mud on it which I didn't realize until I was stepping out of the shower (wet). There were no wash cloths in the bathroom. I did however find some in the shared laundry room where both machines were full with rugs & bedding. I was able to do my own laundry only after waiting a day & then going ahead and finishing the job of the property manager. I paid a cleaning fee, but used my own time to clean up after the person before me. The location is conveniently close to down town, but the neighborhood is sketchy. A homeless couple dined out front & left their garbage. And one morning we woke up to a homeless persons cart of belongings in the "garage", which is not really a garage, but more of a partial remnant of roofless, windowless structure. There were numerous bugs, on the floor & also in one of the beds, as well as a very healthy spider with quite a web in the hallway. I do not recommend.

Carrie, we are very sorry you had such a bad experience. :-( I'd like to take a minute and address your concerns.
We unfortunately hired a really bad cleaning crew who we have since fired over this. We have an excellent cleaning crew now. I wish this wouldn't have happened but this cleaning crew really fouled things up for you and for us. We hate hearing that any guest has such a bad experience.
Have a wonderful day!
Hate negative reviews but here goes. First of all I couldn't find the property the picture on VRBO is different than the actual place. It took 30 mins to find,& there were no lights on outside. I spent the next hour trying the code on the key pad & calling leaving a ton of messages but I still couldn't get into the property! it was hot, I had a car full of groceries and Scott wasn't responding to any of my messages, & yes I left several for him & management. As a last ditch effort before heading to the Marriott I knocked on one of the neighbor's door to see if they knew the owners of the property. Luckily she had a phone # to Celene whom I called & left a message. She called me back apologizing she said it was Scotts birthday and he was away that weekend. I was really upset he could have messaged me a phone # I could call for emergencies. Also in a previous review from Memorial day someone mentioned that the lock pad didn't work, how was I supposed to get in? Luckily, Celene gave me a different code for a box that contained a spare key so we were finally able to get in. The place is cute but dirty, filthy couches, bugs everywhere, toenail clippings, dust bunnies & hairs on the floor. Kid was grossed out I had to clean everything when we 1st got there. As for the area it's not safe there are a lot of homeless around. Shouldn't have had to pay a cleaning fee I cleaned the place myself before & after the stay! No contact made to help or right the wrongs, can't recommend.
