Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. A hunters paradise. A family lake and river getaway. This home is located in a prestige location to rivers, lakes, trails, game and fishing. On over 2 acres and overlooking lake Roosevelt where the Kettle and Colombia Rivers meet- the still, morning lake and nightly sunsets from living room, kitchen, porch and the west side of all of downstairs you will always have views! We offer 5 bedrooms, 6 beds (1 king, 2 queen, 2 full, 1 twin rollaway, pack-n-play and toddler bed) plus 2 living areas, 3.5 baths and amenities. Dogs only. No cats.

Lovely, big house in the country

The large house is beautifully decorated and has upscale appliances. There are lots of windows and a large deck on the main floor with views of the river and mountains. Due to the long days this time of year we slept in a room in the fully furnished basement where there were shades we could close. A large group could be very comfortable here, as well as just a couple.

Quiet, beautiful surroundings, family friendly.

This was a perfect retreat for grieving family frim out of town to gather and remember our loved one. There was plenty of private space if they needed time alone. The property, house, and owner were all lovely. I highly recommend.

Outstanding home and a great stay!!!!

The house is terrific and just as described. It was one of the best VRBO's I have stayed in. The home's cupboards, pantry, and refrigerator were fully stocked. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Will definitely book again.

Boating with the family

My family and i decided to take a boating trip to lake Rosavelt and landed on this listing when we went to book a house. We couldn't have been more happy with the house it was perfect for our family.

Christmas Miracle!

We were totally impressed with this property and the owners. Everything was set up for us, including a Christmas Tree!! And, i have never stayed in a rental property with as many amenities or as few requirements for check out. I would 10/10 recommend this property.

Beautiful Setting and Comfortable Home

Our time at this home was very nice. Lots of room for our family and the three young kids. Space to spread out, have quiet time, relax, or come together for games, fun and good food. The description says it is a 2 min walk to Lake Roosevelt, and it is not, however, an easy drive to the marina and boat launch to boat to a beach. The host was very easy to communicate with. The whole family enjoyed the home and had nothing negative to say. Would stay there again.

Girls trip in fabulous house!!

We just wanted to find a comfortable clean house where 9 of us could hang out and relax and this house could not have been more perfect. The upstairs living area would have been plenty but then there's also an enormous sectional downstairs. The views are beautiful upstairs and downstairs. We all wished we had brought one of our dogs as the house is so very pet friendly. The decor is adorable, the beds were comfortable, everything was immaculately clean. The host was so agreeable, the number of our group changed several times and she was so patient with us. The area felt very safe. I honestly can't think of a single thing I'd change and I'd absolutely love to come back some time

Wedding

Being from out of town, all of our family were able to stay together and enjoy each other’s company. The house has a big kitchen for several of us to cook and clean at the same time. I was impressed with the cooking supplies provided and that it even had some spices and foods available even though we came prepared with our own. The downstairs with games, lots of movies and a huge seating area was truly enjoyed by the kids. Adults enjoyed the cards and games available upstairs. The area was beautiful! We saw wild turkeys, deer and even a coyote a well as fish jumping in the water. It was very peaceful. Much thought went into making us as guests comfortable and we appreciated it.

Tip of the Wedge

Beautiful view. I grew up on Kelly Hill and really wanted my spouse and family to see how beautiful the ridges, valleys and rivers are. We floated the Kettle River, spent a day down at Haag's cove and had dinner at TJ's and barbequed some great steaks on the deck. We really liked the lay out of the house and the location was great too. I cannot say enough about the view. Probably needed some blinds in the master bedroom as the sun came up early and we did have to put some batteries in the thermostat as the old ones ran out of juice but the AC was up and running almost immediately. Once again thanks for sharing that wonderful place with us!

Serene and restorative

My sister Mary lives in Kettle Falls with her three adult children. My brother Andrew, his wife Terrie and son Joseph were joining me from Naples Florida to visit them. I was looking for a place where we could gather for family get togethers. Terrie and I like to cook and entertain so a well equipped spacious kitchen is a must. Lisa is an enthusiastic, gracious and generous host and she has a real gem in this house. It’s incredibly well appointed, generously stocked and very spacious. The setting and views are just magical. All the serenity of a setting surrounded by the beauty of nature but just a short drive to Kettle Falls and Coleville, which has everything you would need. Coleville National Forest and the breathtaking Sherman pass are just a few miles away and the China Bend Winery is a must visit and a gorgeous ride down below Lisa’s house on the same road. Such a beautiful area. I’m looking forward to returning and experiencing it all over again. Thank you Lisa for providing such a wonderful place to stay. We truly loved it.

No power, water or support.

We had planned to use this location for our wedding party to get ready for our off grid camping wedding. Unfortunately the house had no power or water due to a thunderstorm that had gone through the area. We contacted the host who just wanted to know when the power came back on (12 hours later) but offered no other assistance. VRBO was just as unhelpful. Contacted both the owner and VRBO after the fact about even a partial refund due to having a basically useless reservation and got told they don’t care. Not exactly great customer service on either end. Definitely don’t recommend renting from this person as the customer service is horrid.

Best house for a large group! Main floor has 3 areas for gathering, so you're together but separate, so conversations can be heard & shared, and people don't need to shout to be heard. Plus another living room area downstairs for kids to hang out. Sch a great house! Everything is here to cook any kind of meal, and 4 bathrooms are filled with nice towels & amenities.
