Bluefish 16 | Pet-Friendly Beach House with Balcony, Deck, Beach + Pool Access

Our home at Bluefish 16 combines the privacy of a house with all the amenities of a condo! Located in a small oceanfront group with a pool and private beach access, Bluefish 16 is a large, sun-drenched house with a huge deck, just minutes from the beach! Please Note: A one-week minimum stay, Saturday arrival and Saturday departure in season.

Known as a "house dominium" Bluefish 16 is in Surf Crest Village, a small complex right on St. Augustine Beach. As a guest here, you have access to our clubhouse, sparkling swimming pool and private walkway to the beach. Everything is intimate, uncrowded, and private -- the perfect place for a relaxing vacation.

Our two-story house contains four bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus two living rooms - one upstairs, one downstairs - so your group has plenty of room to spread out. Best of all, we have a giant deck spanning the entire back of the house, with all the space you need to sunbathe, dine a fresco and dream in the balmy sea breezes!

The primary bedroom is enormous, with a king-size bed, HDTV, comfy couch and huge windows for admitting sunshine and moonlight. With hardwood floors and walls the color of key lime pie (except the brilliant raspberry panel just behind the bed!), it's as cool and inviting as a morning swim. Once you see this lovely room, you'll plan on retiring early and sleeping late!

The second bedroom is also beautiful, with walls the color of margaritas and cool white fittings. There is a queen-size bed here, and plenty of space. Our third bedroom contains matching twin beds and citron walls, while the fourth has a single bed and sliding glass doors leading outside. Plenty of space for everyone here at Bluefish 16, all immaculately appointed and tastefully designed!

We have two full bathrooms at Bluefish 16, one with handsome tile-work and wood cabinetry to complement its walk-in shower, the other with both a bathtub and shower option. All of your linens, pillows, blankets and towel sets are provided here at Bluefish 16, so don't worry about packing a thing for the house. We've also got a washer and dryer, so you don't even need to overpack clothing. And it's so handy when all the swimsuits are wet but the kids want to go back to the beach just one more time before bed!

Our house is designed for comfortable privacy when it's time to get a good night's sleep, but it's also conducive to togetherness for entertaining and mealtimes. Both of our two large living rooms contains roomy couches and large LVD TVs with DVD players and VCRs. And because they're on different floors, one part of your group can be upstairs watching the big game while another is downstairs listening to music and reminiscing.

You will probably find yourself taking most of your meals outside on the deck - it's just too beautiful not to! Our dining area is perfect for a family feast. The long, handsome table sits just beyond a huge, sunny window, and within easy reach of the kitchen counter, which doubles as a breakfast bar for informal dining. After the meal is over, toss everything into the dishwasher and then settle down to a round of Pictionary or Uno. Snacks and drinks are just a few steps away, the music's on in the DVD player, and life is good!

Our fully appointed kitchen is a chef's delight and is spacious enough for several cooks to get into the action. With all the major and minor appliances, gadgets, utensils, and cookware you need to prepare and serve just about anything, it may tempt you to fry up the catch of the day instead of eating out! Granite countertops, custom wood cabinetry and all the nice little extras that make cooking more of a pleasure than a chore are waiting for you here.
