Everything was clean and met all our needs. The shower was the only problem we had. There was little water pressure and hard for a 6 foot 2 person to shower in.

Quiet, clean and cozy

Nice and quiet, google messed up the address, however it is not far off a main road. Good for a 1 or 2 night stay if you have more than 2 people. The look and feel of it was very welcoming.

Getaway

A great little place to get away from the big city. Definitely a quiet town and a good place to spend a few nights when in or around the area. We spent most of the day in Waco- only a 30 minute drive, and love that we didn’t have to sleep in the city. Perfectly peaceful.

Very clean and cozy

It was very clean and super cozy, we loved that there was a lil bar and things to cook with as well as some spices. The lake nearby is nice to go swimming in. Plus there’s Waco and Corsicana nearby. Watching movies at nighttime in bed was so cozy we loved just chilling out at the end of the night. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Wonderful place

My husband and I stayed one night at The Firefly on the way to our vacation destination. The Firefly was quaint, peaceful and clean. I actually wish we could have stayed longer because it was so nice. Our host was very attentive and informative when I asked questions before hand and during our stay. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We highly recommend The Firefly.

Get away weekend

We had a great stay at the Firefly! The Firefly was clean and cozy and met our needs perfectly. We were only in town for a short time so we didn't take advantage of all the provided amenities. The property owner was amazing with communication and made the extra effort to have our favorite snacks and drinks stocked for our arrival. Highly recommend the Firefly, and would certainly return again.

The Firefly of Dawson TX is the cutest little studio apartment guest house. The owners are very accommodating and want to make sure their guests have everything they need.There are a few yard chickens that wander around adding charm and farmhouse character. The front porch runs the length of the building.and has a nice outdoor sitting area that is the perfect spot to sit and sip your coffee, cocoa, or tea in the mornings while the sun comes up. And to look for fireflies after dark!Inside,The Firefly is decorated as cute as can be, with attention to detail, functionality, and comfort. The bed was so comfortable with super soft sheets & pillowcases. The cover was so soft and the perfect weight. There were four pillows of different thickness and firmness, making it over the top incredible to choose our favorite types.The bath towels were luxurious, large, soft and absorbent, I absolutely loved the chic shower curtain. I want one just like it for my bathroom!The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, and utensils, as well as a coffee maker that could brew coffee using k-cups (with a nice sampling of varieties) or regular brewed coffee (with pre-ground,, pre-measured packets provided,)We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were able to relax and unwind a bit even though we were in town for a sad occasion—to say goodbye to a dear family member who passed away. We hope to come back for another stay when the weather is cooler and the occasion happier.

Gracious hosts, quaint cottage

We had a bathroom mishap that eventually led to a plumber being called. Cody was very responsive and went above and beyond to get the issue resolved. We were very impressed with the quick responses. The cottage itself was very cute and the attention to detail was very appreciated.
