About this property
Coeur d Alene Craftsman
Modern Craftsman home near downtown Coeur d Alene. Close to restaurants, shops, Centennial Trail, Lake Coeur d Alene, Tubbs Hill, McCuen Park, Fernan lake, and the Coeur d Alene resort golf course with floating green. Five bedroom three and a half bath home built in 2018...
East Sanders beach, south of Sherman Avenue location. Come relax and unwind on your holiday in this spacious, comfortable two story home. Gather on the porch and enjoy peaceful mornings with a cup of coffee or tea as the sun rises and warms. Look for deer, turkey, and rabbits as they often roam the neighborhood and are a gentle reminder of Creation and the beauty and scenery of the Pacific Northwest.
Just two houses from the Centennial Trail (Mullan Avenue) where you can watch and cheer on the Ironman and CdA Marathon in July. Take folding chairs and watch the 4th of July parade just another block down. Hop on bikes and experience Art on the Green and the local street fair, downtown art walks are always a favorite activity. Great location to bicycle to the resort/beaches on long summer days. Ride over to the Wednesday afternoon farmers market, Thursdays concert in the park, or classic wooden boat show. Boat, jet ski, kayak, SUP, and ATV rentals all close by. Sea plane, parasailing, river/lake and eagle watching cruises all near the resort. Park the car when you arrive and walk or bike to so many activities. Approx 11 minute walk or 3 min bike ride to Sanders beach and Tubbs Hill for family hikes. McCuen Park (basketball, children's play and water park, tennis courts, picnic table pavilion, and ice rink in the winter). Mountain trails nearby for adventuring, including ATV/side by side rental two blocks away (walk two blocks and rent an atv or side by side and ride to trails on local streets, no trailering), hunting, dirt biking, and fishing all within minutes from this location.
The focal point of this home is the large Amish crafted, expandable, solid maple dining table which seats 9 and allows for gathering of family and friends. Two barstools seat two more, for a total of 11. After the market, stay in and cook in the well appointed kitchen with 5 burner gas cooktop, double oven and microwave. BBQ on the back patio as the sun sets and have an outdoor dinner with seating for 10. Afterward, gather around the wood fire pit and roast marshmallow/ s'mores together.
This property includes use of 6 bikes and helmets (extra bike rental a few blocks away), ping pong table, 2 single kayaks with life vests, water tubes, foldable chairs, beach towels for 11, 2 portable cribs/changing table, highchair, bottle warmer, and kids wagon for easier walks around town.
Downstairs the Master Suite includes walk-in closet, spa style private bath with soaker tub, large tiled walk-in shower with rain shower.
Second downstairs queen bedroom with bathroom adjacent.
Upstairs... two more queen bedrooms with a large dual sink bathroom and shower. All rooms have luggage rack, closet, and sitting furniture.
Bunkbed room great for youth. Or, adult on the bottom full size bed and youth on twin above. This room includes a desk, cozy chair for reading, playing or relaxing, toy basket (for over 3 years), puzzles, books, and removable play teepee.
Finally, the large upstairs bonus room can be a relaxing area and includes a sofa, loveseat, flat screen TV, DVD player, assorted DVD's, keyboard for the music enthusiast, playing cards, boardgames, and puzzles.
Off of the bonus room is a dedicated game room with arcade style basketball, dartboard, and foosball table. Plenty of room for expanded family staying together with two family rooms and lots to do.
Come and enjoy your holiday in this well appointed Modern Craftsman home near Sanders Beach. Whether it be a trip with family, friends or both we hope you come and experience the beauty and peacefulness of Coeur d Alene...we truly hope you have wonderful stay!

About the host
Hosted by Allen and Lisa

We came to the PNW in 2017 to visit and enjoyed every bit of the area and very friendly residents. The beauty, wildlife, nature, and outdoor activities to enjoy seemed endless. We are thankful to be able to share this home with others.
Why they chose this property
Sanders beach is a quiet, friendly, and peaceful neighborhood. Walking distance to everything downtown. Very walkable and bike-able... the lake is very close with abundant wildlife, fishing, hiking on Tubbs Hill, and water sports.
