Lake stays are meant to be long and relaxing--listen to the birds while you sit lakeside and sip your morning coffee. Work from home with our dedicated workspace and great WiFi. Enjoy our low weekday rates with generous seven or thirty day discounts. Experience all the best vacation memories with your friends--sleepovers with the cousins, early morning fishing, playing games and spending evenings by the fire—even the dogs will be happy! Lake vacations--aren't they the best!
There's plenty of room to park cars in the carport and your boat or trailer fits beside the house. The POA boat launch is just a two minute walk from the house and is next to their safe swimming area. Once launched, park your boat in the boat slip in our backyard. Sit under our umbrella and catch catfish in our cove or launch our kayaks (four of them) or our paddle board right there. We have lifejackets in a brown chest by the back porch.
We've got great WiFi and a huge TV for your enjoyment and you can use your favorite apps like Netflix and Disney. We’ve filled the house with games, toys, books, movies, lawn games, puzzles and everything we could squeeze in, making it the best place on the lake for family fun.
Group meals are especially nice at our huge dining table! Seating for 10 or more! For casual meals, there are tables in the sunroom and on the porch. We have a high chair for your baby, plus baby gates, a pack-n-play and changing table equipment for your wee ones.
You'll find our kitchen fully equipped with all the appliances you'll need plus the gas grill on the porch. Bring your telescope for nighttime stargazing from our upper deck or make S’mores by the fire. You'll want to book at least a week to experience all the fun!
There's great restaurants just a mile north of our home. “Fig’s Backyard," $$ and "Fig's Steak House" $$$$ (figssteakhouse.com). South of us are “Gab’s Sandwich Shop,” and there’s take out pizza and other fast food at The Dragon Mart and Wingman Pizza at the Valero station. Another favorite restaurant is “The Whistlestop Restaurant and Bar” $$ (Whistlestop.net) in Trinidad. It’s worth the trip!
Visit area attractions like Whatz-Up Fun Park (whatzup.net), Tip Top Lanes Bowling (facebook.com/TipTopLanes) and Cedar Creek Brewery (www.cedarcreekbrewery.com) in Seven Points.

As kids, we grew up either on the lake or close to one so some of our best memories revolve around time spent near the water. We wanted that lifestyle for our own family, so we created this place to share with our two children, their spouses and their four children who range from pre-school to college.
We cater to families and gatherings of friends who want a true "lake vacation." Our local HOA includes folks who live there full time, so we've chosen to keep the peace with them. We'd rather not hear them tell us of huge loud parties with cars parked up and down the road we share. If that happens, we could lose the opportunity to make our lake home available to others. So we hope you'll make this a FUN Zone and not a PARTY Zone. We would hope our lake home becomes a place your family will look forward to returning to year after year--because there isn't anything better than that, is there?

Why they chose this property
The Cozy Cove is on the west side of Cedar Creek Lake where the cities of Seven Points & Tool have worked hard to improve their communities. Tool carefully monitors & regulates their vacation rentals & recently added a public park & new City Hall. They’ve expanded area business opportunities like the two new Fig’s restaurants a mile from our home. Tool’s local greenhouse has also recently expanded.
Our home is in Cedarcrest Shores POA. They strictly enforce their rules, making the area both safe & enjoyable for everyone. They provide a safe swimming area & boat launch for residents & guests, making your stay feel like your home away from home.
We love the little cove just behind our home where fish are often caught. Anglers can pull their boats into our boat slip and walk straight to the house.
We love to sit on the porch in the mornings and evenings and listen to the birds. We have an upper deck as well, lovely for stargazing or private conversations

We've filled the shelves with puzzles, games & toys. There's space for 10 to sleep (Use the queen sofa bed or blow up mattresses ) if you need to adjust the sleeping spaces.
