Ucluelet is a small seaside town surrounded by wilderness, please do not leave any food or garbage outside! There is also a majestic family of eagles located in the large tree above so please be mindful of small children and pets.

★ THE DRIVE TO UCLUELET ★
Portions of the drive to Ucluelet have limited reception and limited gas stations or stores. Plan to fill up in Port Alberni - the last major hub for your grocery/supply/restaurant needs before you reach the town. You can also get groceries and gas in town when you arrive.

This place is fabulous! Cozy and comfortable for some lovely rainy west coast says. Can’t actually see Terrace beach but you can hear it, and it’s an easy two minute walk from the unit.

West Coast Wonder

This is an ideal location with everything you could ask for. Wonderful accommodations with trails right next door. Close to beautiful beaches and towering trees with resident eagles. Very comfy bed, well equipped kitchen. We would love to visit again. Thank you Bryan.

Beautiful area, cosy suite, great communication with property manager. We would stay again. It’s pet friendly, although we were not travelling with a pet this time. Travellers should be aware that the master bedroom does not have a separate door, so the person staying on the sofa bed needs to go through the main door to the master bedroom to access the shower and bathroom. Fine for a family, might be a bit awkward if 2 couples or friend groups are sharing the suite. Easy walk to the beautiful beach and Wild Pacific Trail.

Lovely suite

The suite was lovely with clean, comfortable beds. There were four of us staying, two adults with two adult children. The space was a bit cramped for that many adults but would be great for a family with younger children. Perfect for two. The host was communicative and the listing was accurate. Resort is on a nice little beach.

Ucluelet stay

The unit was very nice, clean and had all of the essentials. The listing led me to believe that that it was a waterfront cabin with a view, which was not the case. The unit did not have a view and there was a lot of foot traffic and noise. However overall, we enjoyed our stay and touring Ucluelet and Tofino was great

The property is right at the entrance of Terrace Beach and Wild Pacific Trail Light House Loop. Both the beach and the trail are not too busy. The property has everything we need, stove, kettle, microwave, toaster oven, decent size fridge and even a BBQ. The property is clean and comfortable for my family of 4. WiFi is fast, no issue streaming video. Our host Bryan is very responsive, answered every question within minutes. A great home base for visiting Ucluelet & Tofino.

Nice but not quite what we expected

The description of the “cottage” led us to think it was beach-front in a quiet location. Instead, we found that the unit was three walk-up flights up and three rows back from the water with another unit above. This property is built on stilts and sways now and then. (Very interesting!) There is a ramp at the far end but no elevator. There were two construction sites adjacent to the property as well. The unit was clean and well equipped for a short stay. It was great to have access to the bbq since there is only a 2 burner hot plate & a microwave inside the unit for cooking. For the price, we thought it would have been a bit better, but nonetheless, we enjoyed our time in Ucluelet.
