We had a wonderful visit on the Asopus Creek. The house was very well appointed and clean. We enjoyed floating on tubes, kayaking, fishing, and just resting. I would definitely visit again.
The house is cute, clean, and comfortably furnished. The large back deck is the real draw, however, as it sits right on the very quiet and lovely Esopus Creek, with a nature preserve on the opposite shore. There are kayaks and a canoe (kayaking was the highlight of our stay), plenty of seating, a grill and a fire pit. Good birdwatching, as well!
The house and property are beautiful. Just a picturesque, peaceful, relaxing setting. There are other residences close by, but the area is very quiet. Mostly the sounds of nature. Our stay could not have been better and we hope to visit again soon.
The house was very clean, well-stocked and perfect size tucked away on a quiet street. The backyard patio area and creek were definitely a bonus. Our kids loved kayaking and we loved just hanging out overlooking the creek. It was very convenient to downtown. Would definitely stay here again.
This house had everything we were looking for! The access to the creek was perfect for our family as we were traveling with two middle school aged kids. The swimming access right at the property was so convenient and lovely! Being able to use the boats was the cherry on top. The house was immaculately kept with all the amentities we needed to be comfortable. We would stay here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time on this property and the Riverview and back patio cannot be beat! We would come back in a heartbeat if we're ever in the area again. Thanks for a great stay!

What an amazing property — it truly has everything you could need! My son loves the water, and we spent our extended weekend kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and simply relaxing. The home was spotless, and its location is perfect - close to downtown, yet peaceful. The kayak launch made it incredibly easy to get in and out of the water, even on your own. The surrounding area is gorgeous, and I can’t wait to return!
Well maintained property by the Esopus River which gives up access to water activities such as fishing and boating. The view is gorgeous any time of the day.
Very enjoyable Saugerties, NY stay at lovely home on Esopus Creek
This lovely, clean, spacious home on Esopus Creek with spectacular views was greatly enjoyed by my wife and I and our two grown kids. The location was great and our kids really enjoyed canoeing and kayaking. It is apparent that the owner takes great pride in her property. We had a wonderful 4 days and hope to stay here again.
My family of 3 stayed for a long weekend and we had the best time. My son fished right from the dock and caught 9 fish over 3 days. Never seen them biting so much with just worms. The house is as described and we had a lovely stay.
We absolutely loved this property and hope to go back again. Diane was an excellent host and was easy to communicate with. Check in was a breeze and we walked into a full stocked kitchen with everything you would need, the house was immaculate, and there were plenty of toys to play in the water with. We enjoyed the quiet time and the magic of all the fireflies that come out at night.
Three of us planned a long weekend to attend Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool Festival. Diane's house was perfect. The drive was not long and scenery lovely. We spent one day at the show, and the next day we just hung out at the house. It was very clean and comfortable. Pretty views too.
Very convenient to HITS saugerties. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The only downside was that washer was a portable so it made it a little hard to use the bathroom while it was running. Beds were comfy and the view was beautiful and relaxing. Our host was east to communicate with and answered any questions quickly. Great place to stay!
Excellent kayaking and swimming. We especially appreciated very stable kayak launch cradle attached to dock. Lovely outdoor space overlooking and immediately beside Esopus Creek (more like an ample slow river). Beautiful view across to nature preserve. Very quiet.
Very responsive owner.
Our experience exactly matched website text and photos.
