Welcome to our newly built studio cottage, the ultimate haven for solo travelers exploring the beautiful city of Ashland! Situated just a short 5 minute drive away from Ashland Plaza, this fully furnished space is designed to provide you with the utmost comfort and convenience during your stay.

Step inside and discover the comfortable features that await you. To keep you cozy during chilly nights or brisk mornings, the cottage boasts heated floors that envelop you in warmth. And when summer arrives, our window AC unit ensures that you can escape the heat and enjoy a cool oasis within.

The centerpiece of the cottage is a spacious king-size bed, inviting you to relax and rejuvenate after a day of exploration. Adjacent to the sleeping area, you'll find a convenient kitchenette equipped with a hot plate, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and electric kettle —everything you need to prepare light meals or enjoy a quick snack.

The studio is adjacent to the house. The backyard, pool and hot tub are reserved for front house guests only.

Great stay

My husband and I loved our short stay at this cozy property. Host sent very clear directions and everything was as pictured. Shower was nice and we enjoyed the small fridge and microwave. We had our dog with us and all went well. Walked to one of our favorite breakfast places (Morning Glory) and just a short 5 min. drive to theaters. We also hiked and wine tasted. Perfect location for us. We would definitely stay again.

Ashland festival

Very nice little one room cabin. If you walk to festival be in good shape for the uphill return. Enjoyed the deer running around the area. Saw a pair of tiny new borns.

cute little escape

quiet neighborhood, excellent communication with hostess, cute little space. only downsides are it's a little hard to access around the side of the property, and during entrance and exit it feels like you're in someone else's backyard (which you are, hoping the guests in the main house are nice!) it's a studio/kitchenette, so in that sense comparable to hotels.

Worth every dime.....

I really appreciated the quiet location of this property. Close to anything you would want to do in ashland. I stayed for business and worked graveyard shift. I was able to sleep during the day without any interruptions. Might add a small table and chair outside to enjoy your coffe in the morning. I will look this place up on my next visit... this is how your stay should go. Great job to the hostess...

Very tidy and clean one room guesthouse attached to a residence on a quiet street. We heard no sound from neighbors, very peaceful. Amenities as expected but no television. A large person would find the bathroom difficult. This is NOT a short walk to the OSF complex and it's a steady uphill if you walk back after a performance.

Perfect in every way!

The Beach Cottage is a small jewel of perfection. Everything has been thought of and provided for the comfort of the guest. The space is small but well designed, light, cheerful, and efficient. Minor issues were that I tried unsuccessfully to activate the floor heating before realizing that the faster way to heat things up was the heater until below it. Also, trash barrels in front of the house kept me from parking, also no big problem because I parked one door up the hill. Much appreciation of Sylvie's work on this and attention to every detail.
