About the host
Hosted by Susan Harrison
We are a retired military family, who, after spending 30 years moving, decided to settle in the beautiful North Country. We love all activities outdoors - fishing, camping, hiking, biking - and this area is perfect for all of those!
Why they chose this property
This house is so special to us. It is a solidly constructed home which we have lovingly upgraded over the years. The view of the river is spectacular, both from the house and ON the river. Above the dam (behind the house), is hands down some of the most scenic views of the Black River. Below the dam is incredible fishing (pic is of coho salmon caught behind the house in October '22), with access to Black River Bay and out to Lake Ontario.
