Perfect Place for Our Quick Trip

The condo was perfect for our quick trip! It was clean and as described with easy access to downtown Gatlinburg. The host was super easy to reach, as my son’s friend left an item behind. They quickly offered to mail the item without hesitation.

Memorial Day weekend

The condo had some nice decorative touches (although the winter/Christmas decorations seemed out of place). Cutely decorated and two separate sleeping areas were nice, as well as two complete bathrooms. We were concerned about the microwave: it did not seem to be mounted correctly - loose and leaned out at an angle, so we did not use. Place needs some basic maintenance - front door locks screws loose and entire deadbolt loose, did not seem secure. Several bulbs burned out and living room lamp not working. Never could get the TV to work in the bedroom closest to front door. Wished we could have used the balcony, but the smell of marijuana was overwhelming if we stepped out on the balcony. It would be nice if the building had a no smoking/marijuana rule so people could enjoy their balconies (but not a fault of the condo owner). We were busy at a conference, so only there to sleep at night and a short time to rest in the afternoon. Pool was nice for one quick swim. We did not cook there - all our meals were out. Older building, but condo was adequately equipped.

Great place in Gatlinburg!

The condo was a great place to stay in Gatlinburg. It was very nicely decorated and comfortable. It had all the regular home amenities. It was walking distance to the “main drag” and shops although we were there in July and it was really hot so be sure to hydrate for the walk! It’s on the 6th floor and the view was beautiful. Lots of bears to be seen, too! Some suggestions for the owner: more bowls to store leftovers; a bigger frying pan, and do a deeper clean more often (where furniture is moved) to get dirt and garbage left from renters. FYI-My stay ended July 9-if you stayed there before that and left your Apple watch, it was still there in the front bedroom on the dresser when I left. Hopefully it was returned to you. 😊
