Super close to the slopes, but....
If all you need is a place that is walking distance to Bear Mountain Resort, this is it... Other than that there are much better places for the money you can find... Driveway is too steep for a two-by-two to get up in the winter icy conditions (which happened to us; we had to order a tow truck to get us out from the driveway as the car slid in the ditch, and we ended up never parking on the driveway)... overall the house is clean, but very dated, and frankly sad feeling...

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Big Bear Vacations. While we're glad you found our location convenient, we apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the driveway. We'll make sure to forward the concerns you raised to our management team. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Overall we had a good experience at this property, great location and very helpful that there is parking across the street because the driveway is a little precarious to get in and out of with a big truck. Great views and so close to Bear Mtn that you can walk there. The spa was nice but be sure you open all of the doors if using it because the chlorine was super strong and burned our eyes. Oh and watch your toes when going in and out of the bedroom with the bunk beds, the leg on the single sticks out at an angle and it’s often obscured by bedding or other stuff and it’s really hard on the toes! Lol! The only other things that would be nice would be updated appliances, like the coffee machine and toaster. Overall a nice stay and we would return to this property.

Horrible experience at big Bear
Our first house was so horrible that I don't know how they actually listed on their website it was not liable at all both porches on the second and third floor balconies were rotten. Most of the outlets were broken and exposed to wires bunk beds were missing rails just nasty at all.
After complaining they relocated us to a much better home but the home was not cleaned all the beds all the bathrooms were dirty
Not sure if we're going to rent anymore from this agency

Our stay at this beautiful home (12/23/16 - 12/26/2016)
I have always wanted to spend Christmas in Big Bear with just my children and grandchildren and I finally did it. My grandchildren were so happy and thankful I did this. This was a beautiful home. Very comfortable, clean and lots of room inside and outside for my grandchildren to play. The children played all day out in the back yard sledding and didn't have to worry about them. We had our own slope to sled. Everything that was described when we reserved it was correct. I have decided to make this an annual Christmas event. Lots of memories were made in this home. Hope we can reserve this home again.
Thank you so much,

Just Good
If all you want to do is ski all day long and then party and relax at night this would be a great place! We were there to hang out at the house and use the hot tub mostly and the house left a few things to be desired. We had a good time there but it wasn't ideal. Here are all the problems we had. We mentioned this to management so hopefully it's fixed but beware. A couple of these things aren't necessarily things they need to fix. It's just stuff you should be aware of before you book.
-The dryer was broken
-The skeeball machine was busted up
-There was no wifi
-2 of the carbon monoxide alarms went off but there was no sign of a leak so they changed the batteries and it didn't go off again
-no paper towels, dish detergent or laundry detergent
