This is a great base camp. Its close to all the places we planned to visit in the area. The house was clean and things were easy to find. Kitchen, grill, and washer/dryer were greatly appreciated.

This is the forth time we have stayed at Adirondack Base Camp. The property is as described. Clean comfortable and in a quiet nieghbothood. If you planning on hiking in the area this is a great option. We plan stay here in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in tupper lake. The house was exactly as advertised. It was clean and well stocked. The decor was perfect for the adirondacks. The location is perfect for proximity to bars & restaurants as well as paddling, hiking, and cycling options.

Central Adirondack retreat

Beautiful and immaculately clean home renovation in the central Adirondack region with great access to all the beautiful outdoor scenery and superb restaurants and attractions in the area. The host was very helpful and accommodating.

Well equipped super comfortable house

Super clean house well stocked with all the basics you could want for a base camp exploration of the lakes area. Walking distance to downtown and a pretty park by the lake. Super easy check in and out!

We had a lovely stay. The kitchen was very well stocked and everything we needed was there. There was clearly a lot of thought put into what guests might need while renting throughout the house. I definitely would recommend this home.

Great place

We loved the comfort, decor, and cleanliness of this home/ 4 season cottage. It felt cozy for our fall trip. Everything was so new and in great shape with this renovated property. It was nice to see some basic kitchen supplies and a variety of spices. It is an easy place to enjoy!

Loved it here!

We visited this area with our two toddlers to do some outdoor adventures and see the Wild Center. We loved this house! It was the perfect location for all of our activities. It's also extremely clean, well organized, and felt comfortably warm even on the very cold days we visited. I also appreciated how kid friendly it was: not a lot of decorations to protect against, not a ton of carpet to worry about (easy to clean), and plasticware for them to eat off of. Thank you so much, we hope to return to this same spot in the summer for hiking!

Tupper Lake Retreat

My husband and I have vacationed in Tupper Lake a few times but staying at Adirondack Basecamp was a real treat. We found the house immaculate and the location was central to all the activities and restaurants in Tupper Lake. We also took a day trip to Lake Placid. We will definitely be back.

Everything you need and more.

This house was very clean and well stocked. They have thought of everything- from books and games to walking sticks and umbrellas. I especially liked the welcome book that explains everything about the home and about the local flavor. It was very comfortable and we will definitely stay again.

Comfortable and Cozy

Very happy with this property. It has been newly renovated and was clean and comfortable. The opening for the stairway is extra wide so doesn’t fit a traditional baby gate if you are traveling with babies or toddlers.

Great Stay at the Basecamp

My friend and I had a terrific stay at the Adirondack Basecamp. We did indeed use the house as a basecamp for hiking the nearby Seward Range, and the property provided all the comforts and amenities we needed. Mike was extremely responsive and helpful - a small issue arose during our stay, and he was available and resolved the problem in real time. I would recommend his house for a comfortable trip and would definitely stay again!
