Get away to the ocean

The location was wonderful. We could see the ocean from our window! The place was decorated with great accent lighting and the pinball machines were fun! Plenty of housekeeping supplies, clean new beds and linens. The reason I couldn’t give 5 stars was the door locking system. Our code key didn’t work and the door to the apartment had a big round hole where locks had been removed. We literally stuck a rolled up sock in it for privacy! That felt a bit unsafe to me and when we left to walk to the beach we put our valuables in our locked car. We did not run into any trouble and had a really good time.

The property was filthy. Dead fly in the window along with the toilet paper used to kill it. There was pubic hair in bathroom shower, air vent, and brown stains on couch. The floors and beds were dirty. The popcorn machine and pinball machine are broken. The floor was a mix of multiple types of floor boards with tripping hazards and sharp edges. The electrical did not look to code and plumbing was home made. The temperature was very warm and although there was an air conditioner in one bedroom, there was not one installed in the other, but an air conditioner in the closet. The owner said she’d send someone to clean when we arrived to correct filthy conditions and they never showed.
