About this property

Family friendly beach front condo with tons of amenities


The amenities for our unit are shared among 3 properties. Onsite we have private beach access, 2 pools (1 seasonally heated), a hot tub, picnic tables, charcoal grills and a gym. There are no additional fees associated with the property unless you choose to rent beach chairs and/or an umbrella. We do provide 2 backpack style beach chairs in the unit that you are welcome to take to the beach.

Across the street at our sister property Destin West Bayside is the 700-foot lazy river that lights up at night, 3 pools (2 seasonally heated) which include one with a waterfall, 1 wading pool, 2 hot tubs, picnic area with charcoal grills. The amenities are accessible by a pedestrian bridge conveniently located 2 floors below Villa 503 on the 3rd floor.

Destin West Gulf Side also shares amenities with its neighbor, The Island, which offers a pool with a swim up grotto bar. Several eating/bar options such as Fish House, Tripp Tide Beach Bar, and a food truck.

Destin West is a gulf front condominium complex. While the unit is located on the beach it is not what one would consider "gulf front" since the unit is located on the side of the complex and does not face the beach. It does however have gulf and bay views from the balcony as seen in the pictures. It is approximately a 4-minute walk to the beach from the unit down a private beach access.

There are gulf front restaurants within a short walk on the beach such as Rockin Tacos and The Crab Trap. There are also family friendly activities such as The Gulfarium, Wild Willy’s Adventure Zone and the fishing pier within walking distance.

Enjoy all the Villa has to offer such as views of the gulf and bay from the balcony as well as a fully stocked kitchen which includes a full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and 2 burner stove top. The bathroom offers a large garden tub and walk-in shower. Kick back and relax and watch a movie on the big screen TV after a long day at the beach.

We had a great stay! The property and the beach was beautiful. We didn't have to drive around to find stuff to do, everything we wanted was within walking distance. I do wish the property would add a ice machine.

Great place!

Perfect place to stay with an amazing view! The added toiletries in the bathroom, cooler, chairs and umbrella were the perfect touch. Restaurants, coffee, shops are a short walk down the beach. We couldn’t be more pleased and will be back! Owner was great with communication and timely.

Quick Cheer Weekend

Great location with competition at Destin-Fort Worth Convention Center. Advise all evening dinner plans to either walk over to Boardwalk or head to Destin, heading West to Fort Walton has serious traffic. The room was as advertised great for family with younger kids, might have been tight if we traveled with the of teenage boys. Great Amenities and Beach Access

Everything you need! This condo was well stocked and provided so many amenities. The pillows were great and the water pressure was fantastic! You’re right on the beach, so access is no issue. There are restaurants within walking distance as well. This condo is on the 5th floor and there’s a parking garage that you can park on that same level. I would suggest driving up the first time to unload all your belongings and for the remainder of your stay park on the first floor and take the elevator. Missy was super responsive and was kind enough to allow us to stay one more day after our flights were canceled. It was nice to have that convenience when everything else felt like it was falling apart.

Perfect getaway!

The villa itself was so clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with all you could need. The property manager answered any questions I had almost right away. The beach was a bit frustrating though. If you bring your own chairs and umbrella you had to set up behind 3 rows of rental chairs/umbrellas. Walking to the water from your spot in the beach you had to weave in and out of the rows. Not ideal for beaching it with young children. Overall we had a great experience! I’d stay here again, just minor changes in planning for our beach days.

The place was very clean. We loved the view from the balcony. We loved that the beach was so close. We used the beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler that were provided every day. The pools and hot tubs are amazing! We also loved being able to walk to the Boardwalk for food, drinks, coffee, souvenirs, and ice cream. We frequented Pino Gelato for a treat in the evenings! :) We would definitely return.
