Okaloosa Island is the beach resort area of Fort Walton Beach. There are a number of public beach access points with parking, restrooms, outdoor showers and picnic areas. Okaloosa Island is pedestrian friendly and a great area for walking or jogging.
The Tropical Isle complex is located toward the center of Okaloosa Island, right next to the Tom Thumb Convenience store. The closest beach access point is immediately across from the pool area.
