Any time we travel outside our home, we want a place that accommodates homelike or family living. Everything was well organized and stocked. Instructions in places where needed. The area was great with any food, activity or grocery needs within blocks. We come to Chicago for work so if available, this is where I’ll be staying each time.

The VRBO was great for my coworkers and I. Very clean, nice amount of space and good kitchen appliances. It's a 2 minute walk from an Al's Beef location, too! Easy, free street parking on Elston ave, and a quick drive to the coolest neighborhoods.

Awesome Place!

Super nice place in a great location! The free street parking right out front of the property was a huge plus. The property owner was very easy to deal with and was very responsive. My group enjoyed our stay a lot and we will definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot for a weekend in town

Honestly was easy to find a quick drive to everything we wanted to go to (or a cheap uber ride) house was clean and beds were surprisingly comfy. Loved having the back yard. I would stay here again if I’m visiting in the city again and the host went above and beyond with communication. Was a great find for our trip.

Perfect location.

We were in town for the Dead and Company Final Tour at Wrigley. This was the perfect location. Quick ride to downtown. Plenty of eateries/bars within walking distance of the rental.

Very nice and convenient location to go sightseeing in Chicago. Vrbo owner is responsive to inquiries and requests. I love the neighborhood close to many good restaurants and shopping. Feel very safe to be out and about.

The Elston House is located in Avondale, a neighborhood of Chicago. Avondale is next to the vibrant neighborhoods of Bucktown, Logan Square, and Wicker Park. Downtown Chicago is only a 12-minute ride away.

What makes this property unique

Time Out magazine voted Avondale as the 16th coolest neighborhood in the world for 2022, just below Neukölln, Berlin. Although adjacent to luxury areas of the city, the neighborhood maintains a strong ethnic and cultural identity while supporting a thriving dining and drinking scene. A bewildering array of small businesses populate the neighborhood, and a laid-back nightlife scene is just one part of the local atmosphere.
