"Rose" is a new two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in the recently renovated Lutterloh building in downtown Cedar Key. Rose is on the second floor of the Lutterloh building which now also houses the new Main Street Mercantile. "Rose" is beautifully adorned with reclining Italian leather couches in the living room, a large kitchen with bar seating, two bedrooms each with king sized beds, an ensuite full bathroom, full hall bathroom, and laundry closet. Private boat trailer parking available for our guests directly behind building in grassy area. "Rose" is named after a key woman in Cedar Key history, Rose Bell. Rose Bell advocated for her town of Cedar Key, writing to president Harrison in 1890 regarding the liberation from then tyrannical mayor "Billy" Cottrell.

About the host
Hosted by Pelican Vacation Home
We are local Realtors® who live here, work here and fish here! We love the historic side of our special town and sharing it with others. We are just a few minutes away if you need anything at all during your stay.
Why they chose this property
The owners decided to restore the derelict buildings on 2nd St to ensure they did not fall down. We have just completed a 10 month renovation and now open the doors to the public to come and enjoy a bit of old fashioned Cedar Key history combined with a bit of modern day luxury.
What makes this property unique
Historic charm meets modern amenities! This building is from 1872 and that's not something you find every day. Boat/trailer parking is available for our guests in the grassy area behind the building!
