Brigantine Quarters in Shipyard Plantation is an oasis in paradise! If you are looking for a beautiful natural park-like setting, nicer-than-most accommodations, excellent beach access, a quiet atmosphere with almost no traffic and a safe area for kids to play, this is it!

Our villa is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa that accommodates up to 6 people. It has a spacious and fully equipped kitchen with all plates/utensils/pans/etc, and a washer and dryer in the villa (no charge for this) so you can pack a lighter suitcase! There is a grilling area just behind our unit near the lagoon, if you wish to do some outdoor cooking!

Brigantine Quarters is set in a secluded atmosphere surrounded by tall oaks and palm trees--it is at the dead-end of Barcelona Drive, so there is no thru traffic, and is very quiet. Our villa sits on a tranquil lagoon and has a covered back porch--a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the peaceful environment, and watch a gator glide silently by in the water!

On the grounds are 2 tennis courts, 2 swimming pools, a playground & 3 picnic areas with 6 gas grills--all free for our guests, of course. Miles and miles of paved bike paths are immediately accessible to bike throughout the island--one of our favorite things to do--and I consider the bike rentals a bargain at about $30 per week, delivered right to your front door!

Shopping, dining and entertainment are nearby at Coligny Plaza, just a 10 minute walk or bike ride. For the golfer, the pro shop is a 5 minute drive within Shipyard Plantation. And best of all, the spectacular HHI beach is only 3 blocks away through Brigantine Quarters' private access gate!

Nice condo

The condo is clean and updated. The location is close to the pools, tennis and pickle ball courts and about 9 minutes walk to the beach. There is a nice lagoon behind the condo with alligators in it. The owner responded quickly when I had questions.

Great location and rental

We were very impressed with the rental. The space was perfect for my wife and two young kids. The beach access was not far away, and the two nearby pools were great. We have stayed in shipyard before, but this was one of the better rentalsnwe have stayed in. Very clean and hospitable. We would definitely look to stay here again if available. Thanks again.

What’s not to Love!

Location is key! This resort is tucked way in the back of Shipyard and is totally serene. One of the best perks is the back gate access to North Forest Beach - easy quick access to beach and Coligney! Unit is great, only downside is they are all timeshares and are in desperate need to brought into 2025 style. Would also recommend putting a queen bed in BR2. Plenty of space, covered back porch, and right across from pool!!

This is our 4th yeat at Brigantine Quarters! This unit was a delight! Great location close to both swimming pools and gate to the beach! Unit was clean and owner communicated quickly when needed! We love renting bikes and biking the short distance to the beach and Coligny for an evening shopping and getting ice cream! Also Sweet Als for early morning donuts! The pool is always a huge hit for the grandkids who stayed in a neighbkring unit! Love all the seating and shade available at the pools as well!

Great Location and very quiet

We have stayed in Shipyard for many of our visits but this was the first time staying in Brigantine Quarters. This area of Shipyard is secluded and very quiet. No traffic passing thru. Two pools and a community grill--Weber! The unit was very spacious and had all that we needed. It is first floor with about 5-6 steps to get to the door. Parking is directly in front of the unit so it makes for very easy loading and unloading. Kitchen had all that you would need. The back deck overlooks the lagoon which on my stay housed 5 gators! Fun to watch them float around. You have the option to walk to the beach or take a quick drive to the private area of Shipyard. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyable stay.

Great location in Shipyard Plantation. Condo across from pool. Quiet area. The unit was roomy, comfortable & well equipped. The only problem was when the upstairs neighbors walked around their footsteps resounded down. Second week tenants had three small children that jumped & ran around until late at night. Finally had to ask them to hold it down after 3 days of patience. Other than that one problem, we had a very enjoyable vacation.

The quiet secluded setting of Brigantine Quarters, with all its updated amenities, 2 nice pools, reasonable prices AND close beach access is very unique and hard to match anywhere! Great for families with children!

What makes this property unique

This is a tremendous place for families! There are lots of daytime activities right here, along with quiet rest at night! The outdoor grills and complete kitchens make it easy to eat well without leaving the neighborhood if you choose.
