We stayed here over 4th of July and the house was as described and very clean! The marsh in the backyard is quiet and serene, making it feel like our own private area. The location was great - the market and ice cream were right around the corner. And Rexame Beach was a quick 5 minutes away. The hosts were quick to reply with any questions as well. Would definitely recommend/stay here again - was perfect for us and our two kids.
We enjoyed a great week in Brant Rock. The home is on a quiet dead end street close to beaches, restaurants, ice cream, shopping, etc. Clean and equipped home.
We had a great stay at this beautiful home. It was neat, tidy, and well appointed. Not far from the beach either which was nice. The owner was easy to communicate with and made it easy.
Compact and clean, this property nicely suited our needs for accommodating my elderly father during our stay to visit family in the area. Although the amenities were sparse, the simplicity of the space was tasteful and refreshing. We loved the location on a dead-end lane, backed by the marsh --- so peaceful and private. We enjoyed walking to the nearby beach and seawall and exploring the friendly seaside neighborhood on foot.
We had such a great week! The house was exactly what we were looking for. It is walking distance to the ocean and several restaurants, and a short drive to so many places. It had plenty of space for us and our two children. And the views!!! The street it’s on is quiet and peaceful - so relaxing. The colors & decor are so pretty! And the hosts are fantastic. They answered all of our questions, and even recommended places to go. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you!!!
Wonderful hidden gem ! Beautiful home nicely decorated. So peaceful amazing sunsets and quiet street! Nice private backyard can sit out by the fire and watch the birds or read a book. Very friendly neighbors, bonus within walking distance to beaches, restaurants and ice cream! Not far drive to so many places! We can’t say enough good things about the owners !! So accommodating and nice answered all our questions right away we stayed 3 weeks at this amazing home they would check make sure all is good !! Please don’t hesitate to book this home away from home you won’t be sorry !
Thank you so much Patti Mark Court and Tyson
The house is in a quiet location and the interior is pretty. We loved the counters in the kitchen and the color choices! The bathroom finishes were nice. The little porch off the bedroom is nice but we really didn’t use it. Beds and furniture were comfortable and we appreciated the bed linens. We would have liked a few more bath towels, and a couple of kitchen towels. The primary bedroom really needs a shade or curtain, the refrigerator filters needed to be replaced, and more than one mirror would be nice. There was no indoor recycling bin, one of the kitchen drawer knobs kept falling off, and the bathroom sink stopper device was broken. When we moved one of the twin beds close to the other one, for my grandson’s safety, there was a lot of dust, dirt and debris in the corner. Luckily, we have family living close by so we could borrow towels, measuring cups and spoons and a colander from them. It was a daily challenge to back out of the driveway because the neighbor parks her car so close to the driveway. We really didn’t feel comfortable asking her to maybe leave us a little more space to back out. We would consider renting the house again but would hope that it is furnished more completely and that a light blocking curtain or shade is installed in the primary bedroom.
