This is your vacation - why settle for less? Large, New England style Oceanfront home featuring 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Among the many amenities are free WIFI, cable TV, an outdoor grill, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Unbeatable ocean views, hardwoods, and 10 foot ceilings throughout most of the house. Comfortably sleeps 9 in beds but can sleep many more if sofas and foldout beds are used!

We recently renovated the home, keeping the old New England charm but adding modern elegance and convenience! The home also features new, high-end mattresses and bedding.

This home is on Brant Rock's "high road" and boasts commanding views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy watching the sunrise from the large front porch. Rock Beach is a short stroll down the road or venture to the rocky beach in front of the home to explore and play in the tide pools at low tide. Beaches in area: Brant Rock Beach, Green Harbor Beach, Rexhame Beach and Duxbury Beach. Home is located in walking distance from many popular restaurants. We are also located 0.6 miles away from Peter Igo Park, which provides tennis, pickleball, basketball and volleyball courts. You can walk or drive, they have public parking available.

Downstairs contains a large kitchen with appliances, 1 private bedroom with a queen, 1 bathroom (with a shower), a formal dining room, large family room, sitting area with HDTV, and a laundry room. The views from the kitchen, living room, and sitting room are breathtaking. See the photos!

Upstairs contains 3 private, spacious bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full, 1 bunk twin/full) and 1 full bathroom (with shower/soaker tub). Lots of closet/storage space. A private enclosed porch is just off the upstairs "master" with 180 degree ocean views. HDTV with cable in the "master."

Wonderful Stay

We had such a great time the host was very quick to respond and the property was very clean and well maintained inside and out. You can see Seals from your porch! Quiet neighborhood at night and great Ocean Views!

Wonderful stay

We had an incredible time visiting our family in Massachusetts. We stayed in this beautiful house and had a fantastic time visiting family who all live close by in the South Shore. The views in this house are spectacular. The hosts were always available for any questions we had and we enjoyed the stay.

The Porch

This home was amazing. We enjoyed the front porch so much. Coffee in the morning watching the water. We had a wonderful time visiting with family and friends sitting out there. So many memories made this trip. It was fun to be back in Marshfield after moving away.

Great location!

Everything was great. The kitchen could use a good cleaning and the dish/glass situation should be expanded. (Wine glasses!?!) Otherwise home was lovely. Neighbors helpful and friendly. Plenty of room for 8 adults, Close to restaurants and the view can’t be beat.

Lovely Property, Lovely Setting

Lovely home with great space for our family and three rambunctious grandkids. We really enjoyed our week. We loved the restaurants in walking distance and the stunning ocean view from the front of the home. Brant Rock is not built up and touristy--a big plus for our tastes. We would have liked more information about nearby beaches (but explored on our own), and the downstairs bedroom could have used a window air conditioner like the upstairs bedrooms. We would highly recommend this home for families with kids.

Awesome home with gorgeous views!

I recently spent a night at Michael's place with some girlfriends, and the property did not disappoint! The home is quite large, and there was plenty of room for everyone. (We were a party of 6) With just a stones throw from the beach, the home had beautiful views, and was nicely appointed. Michael was very responsive throughout the entire process and had great restaurant recommendations. We had a great time, and I would recommend his place without any reservation!

Perfect for the family.

All was clean and ready for us. The only mar was a leak in ceiling and windows in living room during a huge rain and wind storm. But certainly enough space for us to enjoy elsewhere. There was me, my son and family, and my daughter and family. Plenty of space. Would love to rent again if we are planning a trip to Marshfield. Carol Clapp

House was as advertised. Right on the ocean.

Mr. Josephs responded quickly to my initial inquiry and provided all the information we needed to make our stay comfortable and inviting. Location was perfect. Dollar Duxbury oysters and IPAs at Haddad’s! Plus, we had spectacular weather. Spending time with my immediate family and old friends was a delicious (we bought fresh littlenecks at Woods in Plymouth) way to celebrate my 70th. My son even got in a round of golf at Pine Hills. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. We would like to visit again. Thanks for your hospitality, Jack from San Jose, CA

3 family stay

Lovely home directly across the street from the ocean, with sweeping views of the ocean from the large front porch on a q. The house comfortably slept 9 (including some kids on couches). There were a few minor areas for improvement, but the owner has already addressed them. The kitchen was modern, clean, and seemed new. The house was spacious and airy with lots of light. It was a short walk to ice cream and some restaurants and a general store, and a short drive to the lobster pound. One beach was an easy walk, another was an easy drive. Thanks for hosting our fun stay!

Right on the water

The house is wonderful! We stayed for nearly two months and were very happy with this property and the property owner, Michael. He was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. He was also flexible and accommodating. The house is directly on the water with spectacular views and is flooded with natural light. It has a nice front yard that offers a buffer from the street and provides a great play space for children and a very large welcoming front porch (complete with rocking chairs, a dining table, and grill) where adults can supervise and enjoy cocktails with a glorious view of the sunset. We enjoyed being able to walk out the front door and walk along the sea wall and head to the local restaurants. The house itself is spacious, and the layout is ideal for large families to spread out and for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped. Having two small children, we especially appreciated the large laundry room and full size washer/dryer. There is plenty of parking for guests which is ideal since everyone will want to visit you when you stay here! This was a great introduction to using Homeaway/VRBO.

We had a great stay in this wonderful home. Excellent location with beautiful views, and easy to walk to many restaurants. The house was very clean and the management was quick to respond to any needs we had. Beds were comfortable, lots of comfy seating in the living room and loved sitting on the covered porch watching the seals in the water.

When we arrived we found clothes in the dryer, chicken in oven and one of the bedspreads upstairs had questionable brown stains on it. The grill was dirty and difficult to operate.On the positive side the view was beautiful, plenty of sleeping accommodations and the host was very quick to respond. The Caretaker Kevin was extremely helpful.

The house is very charming with a beautiful view of the ocean. We didn’t love the air conditioning situation as it is a lot of room units that were a little noisy. But overall it was a good place. Check in was easy. Linens and towels were clean. Plenty of room in the kitchen. We loved our time on the large front porch!

Spectacular Views

This house was perfect for my family! This house has a great 1st floor master with a full bath right outside the barn-style sliding doors. This was perfect for my Mom because of limited mobility and use of a walker. The three bedrooms upstairs were perfect for my family. This house will swallow a large family and provide them with room to spread out. This house has all the household amenities that you could need. This house will provide you with spectacular views from the family room and the upstairs master. There is nothing but ocean between you and the mornings rising Sun!
