Welcome! Thanks for visiting! We're Sky & Emily, owners of The Yellow Door, a cozy completely remodeled home in San Angelo, TX! We are within walking distance to the Foster Communications Coliseum and Spur Arena where many events are held! Such as, one of the largest rodeos in the nation! We're also a short trip to downtown San Angelo! Looking to stay in, you are sure to enjoy our outdoor fireplace where you can cozy up and have a nice glass of wine!

Wonderful Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The property was very accommodating for our family. Our hosts provided a clean home, stocked kitchen amenities, games and very comfortable bedding. Would highly recommend for families!

Always a wonderful stay!

This is our second time staying in this property. The house is located in a calm and quiet neighborhood. The house is very clean, plenty of amenities and comfortable bedding.The hosts are also so accommodating and quick to address any questions you might have. We’ve enjoyed both of our stays! Even the location is great. It’s close to downtown, the coliseum and even really 5-10 min from just about any visiting point in San Angelo. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Clean & cozy! We needed a place to host a girls’ weekend for a military spouse who’s missing her hubby. This was perfect for us. Some came from San Angelo, DFW, Austin & Midland. Thank you.

Lovely lovely stay!

After missing our first night due to a terrible storm, we were so thrilled to finally make it to this lovely home. Inside it was just beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. Everything we could have asked for was available. The comforters were incredibly soft, the kitchen spacious and stocked with everything we needed, and the outdoor fireplace perfect for our S'mores in the one evening we spent here. Our family really enjoyed the games, books, and trundle bed for the children - everyone relaxed and slept well, which is often hard to do away from home! Thank you for great communication and a wonderful place to stay!

My husband and I both sell Real Estate here in San Angelo, TX. We love taking old homes and restoring them! We love the challenge of keeping the original history but adding a modern twist. San Angelo is where we have chosen to raise our family & are happy to call it home!

Why they chose this property

Sky grew up on the north side of town and we have seen a demand for short term rentals, especially in this area! Events are held every weekend at the Coliseum/Spur Arena and there isn't much hotel or short-term rental availability. We wanted to give people a nice place to stay in town that also gives you the country feel without driving too far!

What makes this property unique

We have lots of parking & a beautiful outdoor fireplace!
