Location with outstanding views of Mystic River. Comfortable and well-furnished for two people. Great and comfortable walking to everything Mystic has to offer. Just a few steps off the main street but quiet. Small porch area for coffee and riverside seating.

This should be noted as a room in an old home basement. The host was extremely helpful- however I have asthma. The room is musty and stuffy. I was unable to stay because my asthma flared. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. The sheets even smelled musty. The tv is tiny and although we tried to watch something since it’s off season and everything closes in Mystic by 6 and there’s nothing to do, the TV would not cooperate.The plus was that is was close to walking the little downtown strip. There is street only parking. Even off season we had to do a few laps and parked 7 minutes away. If they redid this space- made it lighter and opened windows it might be better. But everything is dark- old- dusty- scratchy sheets and blankets.
Killed 2 large bugs in the living room.
Beautiful view but know that this house is ON the street. So all night long while you’re in the basement it sounds like cars are driving into the room.

Wonderful stay - perfect location

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Riverbed Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable for the two of us and we loved the nautical/vintage decor. The location was perfect - within walking distance of everything in the downtown area. We enjoyed sitting out by the river in front of the cottage in the provided adirondack chairs - lovely view! Communication with our host was excellent. We highly recommend this cottage!

The perfect place in a perfect location

Barbara and Anaund were wonderful hosts. They had little touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. Very comfortable and clean and within walking distance of everything. We have stayed at many VRBO’s and this is one of the best!

An amazing getaway

We had an absolutely terrific time. The location of the property was perfect. Barbara went over the top with the amenities providing snacks, waters & even a bottle of wine. The decor fit in perfectly with the scenery. We will definitely be planning a trip back
