Newly Renovated! Delight in the private wooded setting of this spacious home in the private, south side of Holland community of Macatawa. Vacation within walking distance of Big Red Lighthouse and private access to one of the most highly coveted beaches in all of West Michigan.



This 4-story getaway boasts 7 bedrooms with 3.5 baths, a spacious kitchen with plenty of room for entertaining or nights of staying in and cooking, 3 dining areas, and an outdoor patio overlooking the harbor. The glassed/screened 3 season room stays cool under the canopy of lovely trees but boasts some of the best lake views. This space can be used as another dining space or an area to enjoy coffee in the morning or watch the sunset over the harbor in the evening with a cocktail. With seven bedrooms and three common areas with pull out couches, the sleep configurations are endless for your large group. The main floor features the kitchen, two dining areas, a large living area with a smart TV.



The second floor features 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a gathering space with a trundle/daybed and another smart TV.



The third floor offers another recreation space and two more bedrooms.



The walk out lower level is another great recreation space offering a ping pong table, darts, another bedroom and a full bathroom.

We had a great time at The Holiday. The house was great with plenty of room for all of us. The screened in porch was a wonderful area to hang out and relax or play games. The beach access was easy to get to and the beach was beautiful. We had a lot of fun!

Unique location!

The property was perfect for a multigenerational family, age 1-80yrs old! The neighborhood is very unique with houses built on steep hills, requiring golf carts on paved pathways to reach some homes (including rental). Beautiful views!

Great house near beach

House is just as listed: it’s big, fits a lot of people, in a cool hilltop neighborhood with easy beach access on Lake Michigan. Town of Holland is 10 min away and beautiful. House is nice, with lots of space to sleep and hang out and good amenities. Just as listed. We’d stay there again.

Great family home

Terrific stay at this lovely home tucked away on a hillside overlooking Lake Macatawa. The house has great common areas, a spacious kitchen and plenty of beds. There’s also a large, beautiful screen porch. Easy access to a quiet Lake Michigan beach. The owners were very helpful and hospitable. Highly recommend.

A peaceful retreat

The Holiday was perfect for my large family gathering. Amazing views of the bay and only a short walk to the beach. The house is tucked away nicely in the private neighborhood so you feel a nice sense of privacy. Our room of choice was the amazing sun room. Plenty of beds for everyone to sleep comfortably. Could not recommend more

This house was perfect for our family vacation this year. Plenty of space for 14 of us to gather as a group yet offer privacy when needed. The sun room was our favorite. We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with essentials and that there were plenty of bath and beach towels. The golf cart was especially useful to unload our luggage and travel back and forth to the beach because the house is located in an area with hills and we were traveling with an elderly family member recovering from surgery. The beach is private and pristine and the few residents we met in the community were friendly. The garbage disposal malfunctioned but was fixed promptly after we reported the problem. The owner/rental company staff were great communicators and met some of our party upon arrival to get them settled. We would recommend this property and would stay again. Great area. Great house.

Beautiful house near Lake Michigan

House was beautiful with perfect location! Easy access to Lake Michigan and gorgeous beach via golf cart provided by host. Close to Holland with lots of restaurants and shops. Free parking for up to 6 vehicles. House can only be accessed by golf cart which was provided by host. Otherwise need to park and walk up hill/steps. May be difficult for those with mobility issues.

WOW - what a wonderful house this is. We had 12 people staying in the house ages 9 months-66 years old and it was comfortable for all. The best thing about this house is the private beach. It is where we spent the majority of our time. The house had beach chairs and umbrellas to use which came in very handy. We cooked all of our meals in the giant kitchen which is a great place for hosting!We loved this house SO MUCH that we already secured it for Summer 2026!A couple of items to note:-the appliances in the house are a little outdated (refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dyer). -the WiFi didn’t really work during our stay. We reset it and were unable to get it to work. -the kitchen is stocked but could use a little updating (including a crockpot, more mixing bowls, more basic cooking utensils, etc).

Mother Nature wasn't planned for

The house we rented for our golf outing was a very nice house. I would not rent it again however for several reasons. The access from the parking area, up the many, many steps to get to the screened porch, is too difficult for my age group.We stayed during a terrible rain storm and power went out. Lack of lights is one thing, but the plumbing and well are tied to the electrical so we didn't have plumbing I have been told a generator was installed after we left, but we didn't have it during our stayThe owner provided all refunds we requested and I appreciate that

Comfortable with a beautiful view

Overall, we love the house! The bedrooms were spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was large enough for us to all prepare breakfast. We used the sunroom patio to play games and talk. The kids went to the basement to play bags and ping pong, The only issue that we ran into was the parking. We tried to squeeze five cars into four spaces. We then discovered there was another area to park. Having a golf cart was a blessing. We even managed to move everyone up in the rain without getting soaked. We took a ride down to the beach even though it was cold. It was worth it. It was absolutely beautiful. I loved working with Sterling. They were absolutely great.

Memory making week for our family

We really loved our stay at “the holiday”! Our whole family said it was their favorite place we have stayed over the years. The size and layout was really conducive to times together and space for us as families too. We had 15 of us me and my wife- 4 kids and spouses- and 5 grand kids. The house gave us room to be together and have our own space as well. The 3 season porch was a favorite in the home. As well as the area on the deck with a view to Lake Macatawa. The golf cart - an unexpected help and fun addition- it made the back and forth to the beach easier and was a hlighlight for our grandkids! Both Leslie and Erin were really helpful with the few things that came up during the week. And treated us well and with a serving posture. They helped it feel significant and special. The house was such a get away for us - decorated beautifully, with great amenities for a large family. And Lake Michigan was so wonderful to sit at the beach each day. Lots of space at the beach and felt more private than a crowded public beaches. For our family, this was a memory making week! We highly recommend the place and are so thankful for the management for how they served us before, during and after! Really great for a large family or group!
