The host was very good, and accommodated with our request.. Very convinance place to get around anywhere. We will come back and stay again without any hesitation.
My stay was great - I was staying in San Jose for an internship. The place was exactly as advertised and the hosts were awesome. They were super responsive and ready to help with anything! I would recommend this stay to anyone.
The spot was super cute, spotlessly clean, and honestly felt like a big upgrade over a standard Best Western stay. The only minor downsides: there's no dedicated onsite parking (though street parking turned out to be easier and less stressful than I expected), and you can hear a bit of movement from the main house residents. There was also a new puppy in the main house that occasionally howled and yapped at night, which was noticeable but not a dealbreaker for me.The neighborhood has that "up-and-coming" vibe at first glance, but it's actually really nice—safe, pleasant, and conveniently close to some charming community main streets with cute shops and eateries.I'd definitely book this place again.

Very clean, perfect place for what I needed as I worked at local hospitals. Parking is less than perfect, a bit tricky if coming back late. Would be best and safer if a space was made available in driveway. Overall, excellent place to stay.
We stayed here for 2 nights. It was a wonderful stay. We were there when the temps were a bit higher and let the property owners know of a fan issue and they came in the next day and brought in new fans. Made our stay more comfortable. The only issue is the parking is a bit wonky as there was no parking in front of the main home and had to park around the corner. Other than that, it was a very comfortable and convenient place to stay.

It was an interesting space. There was an extremely dirty, small hot plate that did work. There were dishes, 2 small cracked bowls, 2 plates, some very cheap old mismatched silverware. a Kuerig machine with one coffee k-cup. No toilet paper or paper towels when we arrived. We had to ask through VRBO messages to the owner. After 3 hours, we went to the store and bought toilet paper and paper towels. after we got back there was toilet paper left on the step to the VRBO. Paper towels arrived the following day. The towels were very old and small. The carpet was a bit dirty and old. Many cracks in the walls. Positives, there was instant hot water, the bed was comfortable, a closet for clothes to hang up, dresser, small but clean good working fridge.

You get what you pay for
The place is really small it’s just one part of the house that is closed off from the main area of the house. It’s good for a short trip and you need an affordable place to stay. My only concern was the cleanliness. The comforter on the bed had several stains on it. So did the pillow cases. Also I’m sure it’s because the house is really old, but the floors seem to be really slanted in certain areas of the room. Overall it was just okay. Also if you can’t sleep on super soft beds don’t stay here.
Owners were so kind and quickly responded to any needs. Neighborhood is quiet and there is a bodega right across the street for any forgotten needs. When you enter you are in an open room with tall ceilings. Big bed with comfy mattress and pillows. A/C is in the wall close to the bed for perfect sleeping temperatures. 2 small steps lead into a cute kitchenette. Kcups were provided which helped with jet lag. Small fridge and table for eating. Very cute, updated cabinetry and sink. The high ceilings continue through to the bathroom. Simple but perfect room to get clean. As a taller person I appreciated the higher showerhead. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were provided. Beautiful yard with outdoor seating. Had a great stay.
Quiet neighborhood and felt safe. Easy to find parking on the street just around the corner. Great for one person or a couple. Has dressers and closet. Hangers were almost too high to reach. Upper shelving was too high for me to use. As a side sleeper I found the mattress fine for me. Yes, it is slightly slanted. Not enough to bother me. That can happen in old houses. It is a cozy room and is as pictured. Unfortunately the washer wasn’t available for the time I stayed. I liked that it was less than a 10 minute drive to the convention center where I was attending an event. I enjoyed eating on the deck too. Glad it had a burner to cook on as well. I would stay again. Fast communication from the hosts as well.

I did not see inside the unit as I decided not to stay having seen the outside before checkin and reading some of the property information provided by the host.
