Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Expectations exceeded!

As a Vacasa employee seeking a holiday vacation site for my family (including elderly parents), I carefully searched for the ideal rental and had extremely high expectations. Marigot Beach 404 offered everything we needed, including a indoor pool and hot tub, perfect ocean views yet not too high for the old folks, and perfectly clean and updated unit at an affordable rate. We thoroughly enjoyed the first of what will hopefully become an annual holiday tradition at Marigot Beach.

Ocean View Condo

The condo is an older condo with a little wear and tear but overall was clean and comfortable. I appreciated that it had a nice starter pack of household supplies. The king size bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The view from the bedroom and deck was amazing! Also very close easy walk down to the beach. It was nice having a designated parking spot not too far from the entrance of the building. The onsite pool and hot tub was an added bonus. I would stay here again.

Excellent Beachfront Condo!

We were thrilled with the accommodations in this unit! It was tastefully furnished, and offered plenty of towels & linens. The bedding was super comfortable. The showers both had great water pressure and plenty of hot water! Both the master bedroom and living room offer panoramic views of the sunrise and sunsets! We brought a pair of binoculars along with us, so we could take advantage of the balcony views! We were pleasantly surprised that the indoor pool and hot tub were open during the off-season, and we appreciated the 2 free parking spaces that were allocated for this unit. We can’t wait to return!

Great place, great price

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The price was reasonable, check in/out was smooth, and the accommodations were wonderful. There were things identified in previous lower-rated reviews that had us concerned, but we had no issues whatsoever. The room was clean, there was lots of room for a family of five, with plenty of room to spare. There was ample seating for all of us both indoors and outdoors. The condo was extremely clean! The outdoor first level had a nice patio with chairs to sunbathe that connected to a pool and amazing hot tub. There was some sand in the pool area, but that's definitely expected for the beach. The second bedroom was brighter at night due to the hallway window, but we put up some sheets over the curtains and it did the trick. We would absolutely stay here again and will make sure to remember 404!

Has great potential, but could use a little love.

We loved the view and the decor of 404! It is beautifully done! While the space has clearly been updated, the master bedroom and bathroom could use some special attention. There was a light without a way to turn it on because the knob broke, the toilet lid was broken and would come off, the sink leaked constantly and the sink and tub drain wouldn’t drain and just filled up while running. There are also no blackout curtains in the second room which has a window to the hallway where there are lights on all night (for safety purposes which we appreciate) causing a lot of light in that room while trying to sleep.

The condo was well maintained and we could tell a lot of thought went into decorating the space to make it relaxing and calming. There were plenty of extra sheets, blankets and pillows. The view from the bedroom was AMAZING. We travelled with our 15 yr old, 12 yr old, and 3 yr old twins. Our twins were highly supervised on the balcony but overall felt it was safe. Previous reviews mentioned the lights from the outsides in the second bedroom and that has since been resolved. It appears the host replaced the curtains and our daughters had no problems in the room. We visited in April and were bummed to find that most places were still closed or limited hours for the season so we will be mindful of that next time. The overall property was ok. The pool was really cold and the hot tub could really use updating. The condo was definitely the highlight of the stay. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Great Beach Front Condo

This is a beautifully furnished condo right on the beach. It's in an older condo building but they've done just about everything they can do short of a complete gut to make it feel new and fresh. Includes two parking spots. There are some stains on the furniture but that's what you get with white furniture. AC and other appliances work well and place was generally clean. Depending on the wind, there can be a whistling sound if you leave the sliding door open but not as terrible as the other reviews make it sound. So what made this a 4 star not a 5... the front bed room has no blinds, only a thin curtain and with the hallway light outside you're basically trying to sleep in day light. We ended up hanging up our waterproof blanket over the window and that helped. You're literally right across from the elevator so depending on the neighbors it could be loud. The face plate on the door frame is hanging on by a thread which made it really hard to lock. I have no doubt that even when locked if some chose to put a shoulder into the door it would have given immediately. And this isn't the condo's fault but the deck in swimming pool is gross, like it hasn't been rinsed down in forever.

Oceanfront But ManyProblems

Easy check in. Furnished nicely. Oceanfront great view. That’s about all the good things about this place. Now the bad, Dishwasher full of dirty dishes. I found a flip flop on the floor and wondered then about the cleaning crew. No windows to get fresh air. Sliding door to one bedroom and sliding door to living space had NO Screens. Therefore unable to get fresh air as mosquitoes, flies, and even two birds tried to get inside. When I questioned why no screens I was told because renters break them. However, the real reason is because when you open the sliding door to get air, a horrible sound whistles & screams and it sounds like a freight train. Maintenance told us it’s because the cross breeze from the sliding door and gaps around the entrance door caused the sound. We had no fresh air from this unit for 7 days. Very disappointed! We selected oceanfront to HEAR the ocean and was barely audible closed up! When looking for a first aid kit a closet got stuck and could not be closed. We had to shimmy in the hallway to pass. The linens (blankets) were disgustingly soiled. One pillowcase stained. Thankfully we brought our own sheets. Towels were in poor condition /& discolored and were washed by me before use. All these things were mentioned to Vacasa along with pictures and a recording of the wind tunnel noises.. This was not an inexpensive cost for all the troubles. If I had know all this in a review I would not have selected this unit. Beware if you choose this place!
