This home is a 3 mins walk to the Pacific Northwest Trail which is a 1,200-mile continuous path from the Continental Divide to the Pacific Ocean. Or a 10 min walk to Lake Koocanusa. Or 10 mins to the mouth of the Tabaco Valley River home to the famous salmon run. Or and 1hr and 15 mins to WhiteFish Ski Resort!

Felt right at home, plenty of room for the four of us. Took advantage of the framers market, explored the surrounding area even got made a trip into glacier park. Beautiful area and the weather was perfect.

Cozy Perfection

Fun cabin feel

Despite the paper outage due to an amazing storm my family and I had a great time. The deck and BBQ are were clutch that night. And there were plenty of candles to light the inside. We enjoyed every bit of it

Cottage in the woods

It was very quiet. The wasps or yellowjackets took over outside, so we did not hang outside on the deck or by the firepit. I will return next year.

Fun Little Road Trip

We had never been to Lake Koocanusa before, and had always wanted to see the most Northwestern part of Montana. We found Tara’s place on the VRBO app and found it to be just great. It was very clean, very cozy, and very well-appointed. She has thought of everything! We had such a pleasant visit to the area, in spite of the heat (104 degrees at one point in our stay), and thoroughly enjoyed the house and our visit there. Tara was an excellent communicator and host. All of our questions were answered in such a timely way, too.

An Great Stay at an Amazing House

Every aspect of this house exceeded our expectations. It was abundantly stocked with everything one could possibly need, from the well-equipped kitchen to the bathrooms and the cozy living room. The added bonus of finding a crockpot in the kitchen was a delightful surprise; it was perfect for those evenings when we were out all day. The house also features a dedicated desk area for remote work, and the lightning-fast Wi-Fi ensured we could work efficiently. The modern design and layout of the house are both stylish and practical. The upstairs master suite is a true haven of privacy, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. Check-in and checkout were seamless processes, thanks to the host's meticulous arrangements. Tara, the host, was incredibly responsive and attentive to all our messages. Without a doubt, we are already planning our return to this wonderful property. Highly recommended!

Upon arriving, my daughter had to clean off the patio because it was completely covered in branches. There are still bird nests up in the ceiling fan outside. The patio table was not cleaned and there were no garbage bag liners in any of the garbage cans. The dishes were dirty that we pulled out to use. We had to hand wash each one we pulled out. The pans that we had to use were horribly stained, dirty and damaged. The host was great, but you need a new cleaning company. We left in far cleaner than it was when we arrived. The cabin was beautiful and met the needs for space. I would stay here again, if it were cleaner. I felt like the leaving instructions were excessive, considering the fact that it was NOT clean when we got here. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. I appreciate the value, but consider a new cleaning company.
