Great location

We did our annual ski trip in Taos this year with 6 adults it’s always hard to find a good space that fits us all comfortably, the cottman mnt house was perfect for what we needed, super close to the resort and the hot tub on the front porch was a very nice way to end the day.

Great home very close to the slopes!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Taos Mountain House. It was easy to get to the ski valley, as well as down to Arroyo Seco and Taos proper. Would definitely recommend it and consider it again!

Snow Ski Trip

Fantastic location, less than 5 minutes to the ski slopes in a vehicle ! Very large hot tub, a great house w plenty of space !Great property management, easy to work with , very helpful, they even brought us flashlights when the electricity went out due to a severe storm !

The cabin was great! Nice and clean! Plenty of amenities in the kitchen and extra towels! A couple minute drive to the ski resort! Garrett was great! He and his staff went above and beyond to make sure our trip was enjoyable.

Great Family house

We enjoyed gathering in this home with our family and dogs. It is 1.5 mi from the ski area so every day we drove up to ski. The drive way was plowed each time it snowed! Like all rental homes the knives and can opener are dull. And there are little things that are broken but we still felt very much at home.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. The location is beautiful and we enjoyed the fire pit at night. It was everything you would want in a mountain house.

This cabin was a great location for our ski vacation being very close to the base. Great space to walk the dogs at the back of the house. Plenty of beds for my family to stay. I would highly recommend.

large and comfortable home a few miles away from the mountain. we enjoyed our stay and space but house could be better stocked, especially in the kitchen. as well, know that the hot tub & sauna are NOT on site and not easy to access via hotel. could be clearer.

A great place to hang out!

We went with 2 other families. Found the rooms to be good for the families. Split everyone up into the 3 rooms, although one set of kids went to sleep in the loft. It has a ladder, so it may not be suitable for those who want to climb down in the dark. May sure that you take care of "business" before going to bed. No cell service at the house (ATT) although you can get on the wi fi and use your iphone to send a text message or email. The reception on the mountain was spotty as well, so we went to the old school, "meet you at 2 PM on the deck of the St. Bernard for drinks" method. Worked well for us! Approximately 1.8 miles to parking lots, so it is probably too far to walk to the lifts, so we drove the short distance. The kids could play outside on the impromptu sledding trails, so bring a sled or a cafeteria tray. This was probably the best thing about it. You could let the kids go outside and play and not have to worry about traffic or losing them to the Abominable Snowman. It really helped with the noise and traffic inside the house. Kitchen and dining room are a big plus! Made meals "Family style" when we didn't go the the St. Bernard for their "Family Style" meals. Go figure! Rent the adjoining house, and all the rooms at "Cottam's Cottage" and you will have a great time!

Comfortable accommodations for large group near the slopes

House was clean and well furnished. Photos and listing description was accurate. We had a good time there. The only downfall was that the wireless internet was not working or very weak signal and no cell reception. However, the management is working on this and addressed this issue in a timely matter. Would recommend this place.

wonderful house & customer service

Stayed over New Years with our extended family (3 couples, 5 kids, dog). Very comfortable beds and large rooms for everyone. Even a roll-away on site. Snow was heavy and car was stuck in drive; but received help from Alpine Suites. Had a few issues with heating and plumbing; however, we were told that we were the 1st to stay since remodeling the house. Customer service was exceptional! Any issue was addressed immediately. Very helpful to have house connected with Alpine Suites. Definitely will recommend to friends
