Host was great we had everything we needed . Cabin was cute and comfortable. Enjoyed being able to get away from the city and enjoy the peace of the mountains cabin and property!
We enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was very peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed. It is very pet friendly. Comfortable for 2 people. Matt answered my questions in a timely manner.
This is an awesome place to stay and was very close to some great hiking. It is in a peaceful location and there wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't provided...even for our dogs. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We hope to visit again in the warmer weather and be able to enjoy the outdoor area.

The house had all the comforts, cozy bed, internet worked well, and the outdoor amenities were well done.
So peaceful and after dark the stars were beautiful.
We will definitely be coming back.
Centrally located for exploring towns, hiking and lakes. In the country, which we absolutely loved. Very quiet and peaceful. Hosts were great to work with and quick to respond. Nice outdoor space and the property had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay!

Glad you had a great time and hope to see you again soon!
The cabin was very secluded but not too far from town.Comfortable bed and very quiet nights out by the fire pit.It had most of what we needed to cook. Lots of cool stores to visit and beautiful drives to nearby towns! We will be back again!
This was a great place to stay! The property was peaceful, clean, and exactly as described—well-stocked, comfortable, and clearly prepared with care. It was the perfect place for a solo getaway with my dog. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, including the high-quality linens, helpful instructions, and even items just for the dog.The setting made it easy to unwind, and the attention to detail really stood out. I left feeling refreshed and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, well-managed place to recharge. Thank you for sharing your home!
Wonderful stay as always! Matt is so responsive, and very accommodating. The home has everything you need, enjoyed the upgrades well!! Very clean, and perfect condition.
We will be back to stay again when we visit Franklin, NC!! Thank you!!
Went with my girlfriend for her birthday just to get away and have some peace and quiet. Was very accommodating, clean, nicely isolated. We enjoyed the hike around the property and the night out at the fire pit. Most likely going to repeat this trip annually! Very well enjoyed mini-vacation. Would enjoy an overhead map of property lines and hiking areas

Thanks so much for staying with us. Please come back! We are always adding amenities and are currently working on adding more mapped trails around the property.
I met up with a friend walking the AT. It was a perfect little getaway and a beautiful nights’ sleep for both of us! The space is tucked away but easy to find. Very clean and well-appropriated. The hosts are exceptionally responsive and helpful! I will definitely be returning.
A true gem nestled near the Appalachian Trail perfect for family time in mountain country. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy time together: modern kitchen entities for home cooked meals with a beautiful and relaxing outdoor space that included plenty of comfortable seating, gas grill, lighted patio with a firepit and a covered hammock and swing area with a smoker. When we were ready to venture out, we had our choice of two nearby towns, trails and abundant scenery. Matt & Katie were responsive to amy and all questions though few were asked as they anticipated visitors' needs. We will definitely be back!
The place is very clean, on a very nice lot and was well stocked. The problems are not much lighting and what it does have is mainly overhead. Add some lamps. There is ZERO light over the stove which makes it hard to cook when it is dark outside. It also needs more seating. Only 1 couch and 1 chair. It also needs a covered outdoor area for light rain but you still want to be outside.
I would stay there again if the updates were made.

Thanks so much for staying with us Leah. I’m sorry your stay didn’t earn us 5 stars. We strive for that on every stay. In regard to seating, there is seating for 4 in the living room and kitchen with extra chairs in the bedroom bringing the total to 7 chairs and a large couch. (All pictured in the photos) Our capacity is 4 and you checked in with 2 so it should have been more than enough for your registered guests.
There is quite a bit of bright LED lighting throughout the house. The dimmer adjustment for the overheads is small so you may have missed it. However an additional light over the stove is a good suggestion. I will add one asap.
Additionally, we do have a small covered area with a bench outside but I will see if it’s practical to add more coverage to our larger outdoor area. Thanks again
