Hi, I'm Sherry. For the last four years, my husband and I have been hosting guests here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Our journey in the hospitality industry has taken us through a variety of roles. We've worked for several prominent Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and served as a management company for other vacation rental property owners. We hail from Indiana and Michigan but left that frigid region in search of more comfortable winters. We're happy to say that we've found it here and opened Creekside Stayz Campground! This is uncharted territory for us, but it seems to align with our love of nature, which is perfect considering we don't care for the chaos of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We have two border collie/aussie shepherd dogs that stay at the house with us. In addition, we have a paralyzed cat named Tinky Winky and an old, friendly calico named Snickerdoodles that roams around the property, and will likely come and greet you! Gardening, raising chickens and butterflies are things that we enjoy. It's a great way to stay active and commune with nature.

Why they chose this property

We are thrilled to have found this quiet little property in Del Rio on the Trail Fork Creek. Our campground features 4 different camping and glamping experiences, all located along the creek.

We are conveniently situated between Hartford and Hot Springs, (less than 30 min either way), we're the perfect spot for water enthusiasts! There are so many things to do near here, away from the crazy traffic and bustle of the big cities! We are still close enough to all of the attractions offered in Gatlinburg and
