About the host
Hosted by Hot Springs Getaway
Originally from Charlotte, our family moved to town in the late 1990s after our yourgest daughter found Hot Springs and asked us to vacation here as her college graduation gift. When we were there we became enamored with a property that we lovingly called the Mountain Magnolia Inn. Believe it or not we had to bush whack up to the front of that house to find an 1800s, single story, Victorian home. Then and there we decided we wanted to purchase that property and restore it as a bed and breakfast. Soon after purchasing that property we moved to Hot Springs, and the rest is history.
Why they chose this property
My family lived for years in the Creekhouse next door. We built the Stone Cottage on the property so that our family and friends who live out of town could have a place to stay while visiting. We hired a local builder and crafts people to help us to bring this little dream cottage to life. We still host family in both of the houses, but have since moved a little ways out of town towards Max Patch.
