Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular pest control, but some insects and lizards are part of island life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you experience more than normal pest activity — we’ll work with the HOA to help. These occurrences do not constitute a refund or rental adjustment.

Hawaiʻi’s tropical climate supports a variety of small island critters, including geckos, ants, and occasional roosters. Despite regular professional pest control, these are part of everyday island life. Our units are cleaned and inspected meticulously, and any contact with such pests does not constitute a breach of agreement or qualify for refunds or adjustments.
