The Space:

Firefly Away is an elegant home located directly on Firefly Park. It’s in a peaceful setting, yet close to all the town's amenities. Let the kids run and play in the open Park while you kick back and relax on the wrap around porch! This home has everything you could hope for and more. The open concept living, dining and kitchen are the perfect place to enjoy family meals and your favorite team play on the flat screen TV. Firefly Away is a great home for multi-generational families and can comfortably sleep 12. There’s a King master with an ensuite bathroom on the main floor and three more bedrooms upstairs with a shared bathroom.



This home offers wonderful amenities inside and out. Enjoy the screened in porch with the outdoor fireplace for a cozy peaceful setting or relax on the dual porch swings on the upstairs balcony overlooking Firefly Park. Firefly Away also has a fenced yard along with a private fire-pit! No details were overlooked in this unique vacation home!

Perfect for our needs. Right on firefly park. Close to the beach, pools, meeting house. Great patios. Would look to book here again if possible.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The house comfortably fit our group of 12, with plenty of space for everyone to sleep and lounge. It was spotless and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. The hot tub was the perfect amenity, especially during our chilly February visit—it was so relaxing after a day of exploring. The community was peaceful, and the meeting house was just a quick 5-minute walk away. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

This house is really great! Beautifully decorated. The bed I slept in was comfortable. Perfect for our three families to share. The kitchen had everything we needed. We cooked several meals in the house, and used the grill and griddle. They supplied lots of paper towels and toilet paper. When I travel I bring my own hand soap with me because I can’t use artificially fragranced products, but this house had everyone brand hand soap in all the bathrooms! Not sure if it’s always like that or if someone renting left them behind, but I really loved that. We loved the location, a short walk to the meeting house. Of course all the homes here are beautiful. The only thing we had to criticize was that the upstairs bathroom was growing mold on the vent (and dripping moldy water on us in the bathroom), because it’s just so humid in the summer and the AC was creating a lot of condensation. If this is your home and you see this message, just keep an eye on that! The property manager responded quickly and came to clean the vent promptly after I let them know. But it continued to drip water during our stay. We also couldn’t figure out how to turn on the living room fan, and asked for assistance, but they let us know there was some electrical issue needing attention and it was not resolved during our stay.

Great home in Carlton Landing

This was our family’s first visit to Carlton Landing and it was fantastic. The house was immaculate and the location was perfect. Our kids loved playing in the park just steps from the front door, and they absolutely loved the bunk room. There was so much to do from the community pools, swimming at the lake, fishing and much more. We enjoyed our daily stops at the Meeting House and Mama Tigs. We rented a golf cart and had a blast cruising around the entire community. We can’t wait to come back soon!

Perfect

Such a fun place to stay! This property was great. Super clean, had everything we needed, great location on the green space. The outdoor patio and front porch were super clean and the cushions seemed brand new. There was lots to do close by…lake, paddle boards, kayaks, pools, a small zip line for younger kids, basketball, snow cone truck, amazing coffee shop, pizza place and a grocery store not too far away. It’s was the perfect location for our family reunion. Golf carts aren’t necessary but we enjoyed renting one to have.

Nice getaway

Carlton landing is a great area to get away from the hustle and bustle. It was busy and the Wi-Fi didn’t work well outside of the house and food wait times were long (over a hour several times) because so many people were visiting that weekend. It was great though and we will go back.

BEST OF CARLTON'S LANDING

10/10 would recommend this home to any family wanting to visit Carlton's Landing. The kids loved playing soccer and cornhole and chasing bubbles just out front in the large park. The backyard fire pit was great for gathering and making s'mores. The kids didn't play with their electronics because they were having so much fun. The home is abundantly stocked with anything you could possible need for the kitchen, games and toys for the kids, extra blankets and pillows, comfortable and spacious areas to relax whether you want to be upstairs, downstairs or out on one of the porches. It is a short walk to all the neighborhood parks and dining areas. The adults gathered around the large dining table and played card games. After a long day it was so nice to sleep in comfortable and cozy beds. We could have stayed a week and never run out of things to do. It was a perfect place for our family to reconnect and make memories we will always cherish!

Great Property, we loved it! The house was well set up and we had everything we needed! Loved that it was conducive to families. Felt so welcoming. The best part was it opening to firefly park!Only small issue we had was the access codes we received for the Pools were wrong, so we had to ask someone at the pool for the correct one.

Carlton landing lived up to my expectations and even more! 17 Firefly Lane was so perfect for our large family. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. So roomy and functional! The kids loved the bunk room and the puzzles, books and toys. I would definitely recommend this VRBO to anyone who wants to vacation in a spot where you never have to leave.
