Reviewer Comments:
Pros-The home was a beautiful cabin style with plenty of room, comfortable furnishings, and a gorgeous view. Listing pics were accurate. Stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and extra bedding for our stay. Very helpful management service when we realized the water heater had neglected to be turned on for the guests. (Maybe that fact should go in the con list as well.) It was addressed within 30 minutes and all was well. The ping pong table was a big hit with our family. We enjoyed the beautiful cabin ambiance and the spacious deck. The outdoor furnishings were comfortable and enhanced the experience. Cons- As seen in a previous review, the area around the fire pit and hillside looked as if the property was abandoned. The shrubbery and grasses were overgrown and in desperate need of maintenance. There were two young pines growing that were already beginning to obstruct the view from the bottom deck and the dry grass growing in the pavers around the fire pit made us nervous while using it. The path down was slanted and stone steps had no railing to brace yourself on. The light switch for the pit area was by the pit area which was tricky because you wanted to kill the lights down there before going inside, but at the same time needed the lighting to see how to get back up safely. The driveway entrance could have used some landscaping attention as well making it more easily seen. The trash had to be disposed of a short distance away from the house which was mildly inconvenient. The driveway is on a slant. Nothing too steep, but good to know if it is winter weather. The road into the property was curvy and felt more like one lane than two. I prayed we didn’t meet another car. The charcoal BBQ grill provided was nice, but it was off to itself. It would have been better if the grill master could join everyone else on the deck area while grilling. The only bedroom upstairs was the primary. The steps to the second level had a couple of tall steps you had to be mindf
The home was perfect for our family of four and could definitely accommodate more people comfortably. The kids stayed in the basement and enjoyed the table tennis and foosball. The house was well kept, with the exception of the patio space down by the firepit, which had weeds growing over it. Another small thing to note is that you may need to bring your own grilling tools. They seemed to be missing from the property.

Overall, we had an enjoyable Father’s Day weekend with family. There doesn’t seem to be adequate reviews for this home. I find them to be very helpful when spending a lot of hard earned dollars. Hopefully this will help others in making a decision on renting or not renting this home.Pros: The cabin was overall clean. More than enough space for the amount of people we had (9). Two living areas was nice to have. The kids enjoyed foosball. The decking has been updated since pictures were taken. Downstairs air keeps it cold at night for cozy sleeping. Wonderful view of the lake and great spot for floating by the dock. Deep water off dock. Cons: Although it is advertised as “no pets allowed”, there have been pets here as evidenced by the white dog all over entry rug and other areas. The family members with allergies also had itchy skin and noses. There is a leather chair with 10 pieces of upholstery tape in living room. Just get a new one. As stated in the pros, the cabin was overall clean and new decking installed, but the grounds of this cabin have not been well maintained. There are weeds as tall as the balcony and growing all in the walkway and staircase. The outdoor furniture on the bottom deck is falling apart. The dock needs a scrub. It could be a beautiful cabin but the lack of care on the outside makes it fall short - a juxtaposition to the well-maintained. For the 2k for 3 nights, more care should be given to the property. It has potential to be great!
Great location to the main water channel along with quick access to tributaries and fingers on the west side.
