"Southern Soul" is the perfect vacation retreat on North Carolina's Outer Banks. Southern Shores is a peaceful residential community 1.5 miles south of the shops and restaurants in Duck, NC. Short walk (5 min.) to lifeguarded private beach access exclusively for Southern Shores residents and their guests (see pictures). This comfortable home accommodates 8 people, with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a spacious great room. There are large decks off of the 2nd and 3rd floors with plenty of seating. The fenced-in 27' x 12' in-ground private pool with seating for 8 is a great place to spend time with your family and friends on those warm sunny days. Under house parking plus a large area for 2-3 more vehicles/boat. Other features of the home include:

- Keyless entry on the ground level

- Level 1: Master bedroom w/ queen and bath w/ shower; bedroom w/ queen; bedroom w/ 2 twin beds; hall bath w/ tub-shower; hall laundry closet w/ washer/dryer.

- Level 2: Bedroom w/ queen; hall bath w/ shower; Great room w/ queen sleep sofa, 46" TV, kitchen, dining table w/seating for 8. Sliding glass doors to large deck.

- POOL WILL BE OPEN May 5 - Sep 28.

- Flat screen TV in master bedroom

- Well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, stainless steel appliances.

- High chair, booster seat

- Wireless internet access

- BBQ grill, picnic table

- 2 adult bikes and 2 youth bikes

- Corn hole game, beach chairs, umbrella, toys

Let me first say, his house is in a perfect location in Southern Shores. It’s close to the beach, restaurants, and stores, but still tucked away enough to give you peace and tranquility. It’s the best of both worlds—relaxing and quiet, yet just minutes from the hustle and chaos of the main OBX drag in Kill Devil Hills and Kitty Hawk if you want that.We had a minor AC issue during our stay, but the owners handled it quickly and professionally. That made all the difference.We truly enjoyed our time here and plan to be back. Honestly, if they ever decide to sell the place, I’d consider buying it myself—haha!Highly recommend this property!

Our vacation was amazing! Your home is beautiful with so many extra details. The location was fantastic. We plan on returning for another OBX vacation. This year was very special because our first grandson 7 months was with us. Next year hopefully we will vacation with our second grandson.
