Sleeps 12, Unwind with your loved ones on the natural stone patio. Whether you spend your days lounging on the shore or casting your line off our brand new 126' dock. This is what vacations are made of. We host many wedding parties and families due to our central location to wedding venues.

The Space:
Enjoy the beautiful views from the window filled sunroom or wide open kitchen. Everywhere you look is a view of gorgeous gardens with the beautiful water beyond.
5 minute walk to Mayola wedding venue.
Great place for the wedding party or family of the bride and groom.

Guest Access:
3 kayaks available for your use .
If you head north from the house there is a peaceful, scenic estuary around the bend!

The Neighborhood:
Historic Riverside District of New Bern
A 24 minute walk to historic downtown shops, sights and restaurants.
A charming stroll through beautiful historic homes along the way.

Getting Around:
We have parking for 4 cars in the driveway and free street parking. Very quiet street with interesting things to see.
The National cemetery, created after the Civil War, is 5 minute walk.
Old time hardware store around the corner for all your fishing gear needs.

Brand new dock!

We also have a playroom in the garage with lots of games for the kids and adults. It has a rollup door and a great view. (great for rainy days)

BBQ instructions

I hope you are as excited about this BBQ as I am. If you just need to cook some hotdogs and hamburgers, use the gas grill on the right side. But if you are true Grill master,
Please enjoy the smoky flavor of the wood pellet grill on the left.
Please be a responsible griller and clean the grill when you’re finished.
We keep a bin of wood pellets in the play room. If the bin is empty you can purchase more pellets at Lowes or Walmart.
I have attached the instructions. Please read thru to familiarize yourself with the grill.

AMAZING Weekend

We had a wonderful wedding weekend. Thank you to David for helping to make our family so comfortable and blessed. Our well appointed and spacious accommodations were a big hit, not to mention the fantastic view, lush manicured yard, fun (and very safe) dock, and gourmet kitten. We lacked for nothing and enjoyed everything.!

Best place to stay in New Bern

The house was clean upon arrival and well stocked. The view from the back of the house is stunning. We enjoyed taking sunrise and sunset photos. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in New Bern, stay here!

The perfect getaway!

David has thought of everything to make a well stocked rental for a memorable stay. The view was incredible and the house was cozy and charming. New Bern is such a fun town with shopping, great restaurants and an interesting museum. 10/10 would stay again and recommend to friends!

Waterfront Serenity!

This place was everything as advertised and completely lovely. Our family had an awesome time, and although it was rainy and cold one day, we managed to get one of the kayaks out at one point. Plenty of space for 3 couples and 3 kids. Really an awesome place and experience.

We have recently relocated from California. We bought this home to be our retirement home. But its become so popular as a vacation rental we decided to live in a deferent home.

Why they chose this property

Its all about the river front location and the surrounding gardens. The river is a mile across and smooth as glass in the mornings. and sometimes all day. There is no current, so its like a huge lake. The sunrise is incredible!

What makes this property unique

Extra large sunroom and newly remodeled kitchen. the View from all rooms is incredible. The house is very isolated from any neighbors. the Privacy is great.
