We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The riverfront is expansive and having a dock down to the river is so helpful. Everything you need is here to walk in and start having a great vacation. We would love to stay again!
Absolutely perfect! Very clean and well kept. Fun sitting on the patio watching the ducks and people coming down the River.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay. Sitting on the deck and watching the rafters float by is one of my favorite things about the cabin too. We hope you come back to visit again!
Very nice. Had a great time with old freinds. Very nice set up with out door seating for morning coffee looking over the river. Nice fire pit on the bank of the river. Will probably visit again next year. 3 night stay. A little problem with check in, but more our fault understanding the app. Host was helpful sorting out

Very quiet, secluded feeling location, yet right in Indian River. Super easy to find and very cozy! Very unique with the guest cabin for the second bed and full bath!
My son and his family stayed there with me to visit my daughter whom just had a baby girl. Have recommended already to other family members that may go up to visit my daughter. I know I/we will be staying again!
All 5 starâŚthe only reason I left a 4 star on condition is due to front door being difficult to open/close (hanging up in the jamb)âŚotherwise all excellent!
The river front location was a huge hit with the kids and the adults. Tubed down the river for about an hour (in very cold water) right to the dock in front of the property. Nice restaurants and a market very close. Easy day trips to Petosky, Cheboygan and Mackinac Island.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope you come stay with us again.
We stayed at the cabin for a quick trip for the weekend. The kids loved being able to fish right from the dock. Was nice being able to watch them from the dinning room table, was a cold Memorial Day weekend! Even though they werenât able to catch anything they really enjoyed themselves! Cabin was super cute. Loved all the unique pieces that made it specialized. Would love to know where you got the fish glasses from in the China cabinet!

Hi Jenna,
We're so glad you enjoyed your stay. The fish glasses are an old collection that were handed down to me. I hope you come stay with us again when the weather is warmer.
Excellent property for our needs. Our son and his wife stayed in the Fish House to sleep then joined in with my husband and I for meals and activities. The weather turned very cold so we used the wood burning fireplace. There was firewood just outside the door which was very convenient.

Very clean. Fully stocked kitchen. Owner very responsive to an issue we had upon arrival. Tubes on the dock were a little misleading. They do not come with the property. The river is perfect for rental tubing

This property and the amenities are ON POINT!! Love, love, love this cozy log cabin with the second building housing one bedroom and a full bath (shower). The home was immaculate. Lots of thought put into the âextrasâ - beach towels, noodles, puzzles, games, DVD player, etcâŚ. The only negatives (for us) was the location near a busy intersection so we heard cars at night and we didnât have enough hot water for showers

A bit of a surprise
The place is adorable and easy to find. It's very poorly lighted inside making it hard to read, do a puzzle or any handiwork. Everything in the house worked fine and it was appointed very well. The Fish House (Sturgeon Cabin???) however was small, no place to put a suitcase but the floor, very chilly with a wall heater that blows more cold air than warm and took over an hour to just take the cold down to chill. It also had minimal light so the best option was to get in bed fully dressed and go right to sleep. There was no internet. I notified the owner who responded promptly but as I am not experienced in electronics I just put on extra socks and got under all the covers. I see that the property is listed for sale. I think that might be beneficial. Thanks.

Thank you, Mary, for staying with us and thanks for your review. We take pride in our cabin in hopes they will enjoy it just as much as we do. The Fish House is a private separate unit from the cabin. It is a private bedroom and bathroom with garden windows. There are 2 suitcase stands in each bedroom on the property. It also has its own internet line feed, separate from the cabin internet. When you enter the Fish House you must use that internet line because the internet in the cabin does not reach the Fish House. The cabin has great efficient lighting and there is one lamp that has powerful bright light. Fish House is also has efficient bright light. I do agree that it takes the heating system longer to heat up. We will consider taking a look at that on our end. The last item is that our home is not for sale. I'm not sure why you stated that. Thank you for staying with us and we hope you come back to visit again.
Remodeled log cabin on the Sturgeon river. Fish right off the deck or relax under the shade trees and watch the rafters go by. Walking distance to downtown Indian
River. Great restaurants and shopping. Plenty of trails for biking, hiking and snow mobiles. Access Burt Lake, Mullet Lake and Crooked Lake. Such a peaceful relaxing atmosphere.
