We really enjoyed the well appointed home on a large lot next to the lake. It is a great location close to a restaurant and marina. Our family will look forward to staying again!

Thank you for choosing our Lake Anna retreat for your Thanksgiving holiday. We’re so happy you enjoyed it and looking forward to your return.
We had a great time visiting Lake Anna and staying here! The property was clean and the owner was very communicative and provided us with everything we needed. The space was a perfect size for our group of 8, and there were lots of fun restaurants to check out nearby.
Our group of friends had a great time staying at this home. We enjoyed visiting the local state park and catching up in the house. There was plenty of room to sleep multiple families with young kids, and we would definitely consider staying here again!

Thanks Ben! It was a pleasure hosting you! We hope you return in the future.
We had a wonderful first visit to Lake Anna! We wanted a very relaxing holiday weekend and this was perfect. Our family loves to fish and take a boat out on water. The lake was very pretty and we enjoyed seeing all of the many coves and marinas. This house is in a great location. Close to everything! We loved walking the short distance to the waterfront. The yard was amazing and we absolutely loved hearing the roosters in the distance in the mornings! So pleased with everything about the house. So spacious and very clean. We certainly appreciated all the amenities including the extra beach towels. We had a great time and will visit again very soon!

So happy you and your family had a wonderful stay. You took great care of the house. Please come back to see us soon!
Overall, the house worked well for me and my group of friends. A few downsides - 1. No shampoo/body wash provided. I'm used to these being provided. Not a big deal, but we needed to make an extra stop just for this. 2. The bathroom situation was less than ideal for a group stay. One bathroom is attached to the downstairs bedroom. The other bathroom is connected to both of the upstairs bedrooms. The basement is basically its own apartment complete with an additional kitchen. 3. The upstairs bedrooms got ridiculously hot at night, even when the rest of the house was cool.
All that being said, the house location and water access was great. Very dog friendly, with a big yard that dogs can run around in. Communication with the home owners was good with very quick responses. Check in was a breeze. Overall, the house worked well for a lake weekend!
