Huge, 3500+ sf, gorgeous home with 7 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Newer construction, this home has it all. Set on 7 1/2 secluded acres with 200' of private water frontage on an all-sports lake.

2 private docks, private sport court, downstairs game room, large yard, and so much more! Open land plus beautiful, mature trees.

There is a huge master bedroom with King bed, private bath with soaking tub, massive walk-in closet, separate shower and double sink. This room also has a Full/twin Trundle.
Bedroom #2 has a full-sized bed, twin bunk beds, and a closet
Bedroom #3 has 1 queen bed
Bedroom #4 has a full-sized bed, twin bunk beds, and a closet

There is also a kids mini bed and crib that floats around from room to room.

Bedrooms 2, 3, and 4 share a full bathroom complete with double sink and bath with shower.

Lower level has Bedroom #5 with queen bed, private bath with stand-up shower, sink, and closet

Lower level has a room with Full/Twin bunk and twin Trundle

The main floor aslo has a room furnished with another twin trundle

Kitchen is open to a huge living, informal dining room with breakfast bar, big-screen TV, complete with Direct TV, Nintendo Wii and DVD player. Living room has a wood-burning fireplace, and comfy cozy sofas. Main dining room has a CD player and connects to a huge screened-in deck with patio furniture (perfect for dining al fresco! - without the bugs!), fire pit, BBQ grill, and awesome view of the forestry and lake.

There is a 'formal' dining room with table that seats 6. Grand, two-story entry atrium.

Lower level has TV, pool table (or ping-pong), darts, arcade games, extra refrigerator, and microwave all with walk-out access.

Whatever you want to do - it's here! swimming, fishing, boating, sports, walking, trails, relaxing, cooking, sledding, nearby skiing, pool, ping-pong, pac-man, exercise, and so much more! The perfect setting for retreats, meetings, reunions, seminars, vacation, big family gatherings, and fun (or romantic) get-a-ways!

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS STRICTLY A NON-SMOKING HOUSE AND WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS or ANIMALS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. FURTHER, WE DO NOT RENT THE HOME FOR PROMS, BACHELOR PARTIES, ETC.

The house was clean and big enough for our family. The lake was very pretty and clear. You thought of everything, like the basketball court, and the water toys, and the ping pong table. It was a great experience and everyone enjoyed the stay. We have been renting houses for 20 years and my family thinks this is the best house we have ever stayed in. We definitely will be back!

Best 3 Days of the Year

The Bloomingdale house is incredible. Spacious, great AC, roomy, and you can walk out the back door down to the lake---so beautiful! Jimmy was incredible with his communication and his willingness to make it a great 3 days! We could not have had a better time and even with 23 people under one roof we had plenty of space! Can't wait to return!

Fun Time at the Lakehouse

We really enjoyed our stay. The sandbar by the lake was a favorite for us. The children loved The water toys. We loved watching them. Have fun would go there again anytime

Family fun trip

The location was beautiful and our family enjoyed the privacy of the house and serenity of the lake. There was always plenty of things for the kids to do whether it be tennis, biking, board games, or the many water activities. Jimmy was a great host and responded immediately when we had issues with getting into the house. Highly recommend this location especially if you have a big family like ours.

Our stay was excellent. We enjoyed the lake and the boat as well as the private beach. We had a big group and there was plenty of room. We enjoyed the basketball court as well. We also took a short trip (20 min) to Lake Michigan and enjoyed it. The town of South Haven was very cute. The deposit was also returned very quickly.

Wonderful family getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful well kept home. The house was perfect for our group and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the lake for using the kayaks, SUP, paddle boat and floats. The deck by the lake was like an outdoor living room! The fire pit was great for s'mores after dinner in the screened in porch off the kitchen. Jimmy was great to work with and very responsive to any questions.

Comfortable get away

Homeowners pay attention to detail and make their home a wonderful place to have a vacation. Very nice kitchen that is well supplied with kitchen necessities. Plenty of space for large families. Very nice area out front for an evening fire in the driveway. Plenty to do outdoors and indoors. Owners are very accommodating and helpful. Wonderful vacation for our entire family!

Great house has everything you would need with plenty of beds and massive yard to explore. However the checkout “check list” was pretty lengthy with how much the cleaning fee was. Not a fan of that but nonetheless would stay again.

Great time!

We had a great time! My four married kids and their children came from 4 different states for a family reunion. The house was perfect for families with young children. Lots to do in the game room downstairs and lots of fun things provided for our time at the lake. We really appreciated all the water "toys". The grandkids had such a fun time down by the water.

Best New Years Family Gathering Ever

I had my family and friends meet at this property for New Year celebration, and, we had an amazing experience there. The house is beautiful, clean and big. Did I mention the house is big? We had no problem with space for the whole family! Screened in porch has a great view. I can only imagine how great this place would be in summer, with the pontoon boat and such. We're definitely coming back here. Owners were a pleasure to deal with.

Great property and responsive host

My extended family of 21 stayed at the house. The house is well laid out. When the kids stayed up, there were places for them to older so the parents could sleep. When the parents stayed up too, there were still places for them to have quiet conversations away from the older kids. My favorite was the screened in back porch overlooking the lake. The host was quick to respond with any questions and to help out with anything that was needed. The lake is beautiful and great for either swimming, using the provided equipment, or just relaxing on the beach. It's easily a 10/10.

Great getaway for a large family.

It is so difficult to find a vacation destination that 19 family members can stay in and be comfortable. Jimmy's house is THAT place. Enough room for everyone with space to spread out. This was our first visit and the description on Home Away was spot on. So many great things to do without ever needing to leave the property. Jimmy was so understanding when I communicated that we had lost the paddle board Oar. We felt so bad and he made us feel so much better. Thank you Jimmy for sharing your wonderful home with our family.

Family Trip

We had 25 adults on this trip and the house was spacious to accommodate us all comfortably. Some couples had to bunk together in rooms but it worked. The house is supplied with everything!! The kitchen even had crockpots. We brought our own but wish we knew how well stocked it was to lighten our load. We had a fabulous time. Lots of things to do and games to play. We loved going to sandbar and hanging out all day with our pontoon. There were very few people on the lake the whole week so we basically had it all to ourselves. Great memories made with the family.

What a find!!!

My family and in-laws just finished a ling weekend at this house. It was amazing. Even though the pictures make it look nice, it is so much better than you would expect. The masIter suite is HUGE!!! There is so much space for everyone to gather or to do their own thing. The volleyball/basketball court gave my family hours of entertainment. The beach is the perfect size to relax. We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old, the water depth was great. I was able to relax while they played in the lake (all the included water toys were a nice bonus). I wish I could say more great things, if you re considering this house, go for it, you will have NO regrets. The house is great, the lake was beautiful and quiet. A wonderfully serene get away, even with in-laws!!

perfect peaceful getaway

Jimmy was super accommodating, flexible, available, and so nice. Amazingly pretty and quiet spot...practically had the whole lake to ourselves during the week! House was large enough for all 22 kids and adults; fantastic yard to run and play; tennis and basketball games; late night pool tournaments; gorgeous new docks and deck with a perfect shady spot for elderly parents to relax and take in all the water fun- which included kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, water football and frisbee, floating with a cocktail, and since we rented a boat also tubing and skiing. We were a little short on towels but there is washer, dryer and detergent so no problem. Didn't quite have enough sheets/pillow cases for futon and couches but were brought right over with a phone call. The only real drawback for us was the lack of a main bedroom and bathroom on the ground level for grandma and grandpa, but we made do. Would highly recommend a stay here!

I cannot express how awesome this property is for a large group!!! It is updated, spacious, comfortable, and perfectly stocked for anything and everything you might need both inside and out. We co-owned a family cottage and often had 25 people with multiple generations. I promise you, I know what a well stocked easy place to be in looks like. :)Jimmy was an excellent host and responded super quickly to each and every question I gave him. The property and the house are incredible. The lake itself was warm, clean, great for fishing and doable for some sports. We rented a pontoon boat and it worked for everybody. There was plenty of seating down by the beach, as well as plenty to float on. Our family had kayak races around the floating dock. We weren’t quite sure what we would need so we brought almost everything. The only thing we brought that he didn’t already have was a canopy tent for some extra shade, although there were trees and beach umbrellas, and our corn hole bag game. :) There was a bit of a walk from the house down to the lake, but it was no problem at all. Gave us a little exercise for all the eating and drinking we were doing :-). The property itself is gorgeous and the basketball court with lights was a huge hit.If you are in a position to pre-plan your meals and bring it up, he has two refrigerators to accommodate lots of food. If you’re not, the nearest grocery store is 10 minutes away. Not a big deal. TOTALLY Recommend!

Perfect family lake get-away!

The only thing our parents wanted in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary was for their kids and grandkids to go “jump in the lake” and spend some time together “away from it all” on a lake in Michigan and that is exactly what we did!! We could not have asked for anything better than Jimmy’s property! The description and details of what to expect were spot on! I believe we utilized everything this rental home had to offer! Most of the family had never stayed on a lake before so this was super special. Some favorites included swimming, playing in the clean sand and simply relaxing down by the lake. Many basketball games were played even some under the lights! The boys fished every day - largest bass caught this week was 4.25 pounds!! We used the kayaks, paddle boat, SUP and swim deck. We rented a pontoon 2 of our days which was a perfect addition to putt around the lake stopping at both the deep water and sand bar to play and swim! The campfires down by the water were amazing as we talked, made s’mores, shared fun times. The whole process was super easy and the communication with Jimmy was very responsive. We highly recommend this rental! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with our family!

Everything you could want in a getaway for growing family of all ages. Plenty of room, activities in or outdoors. Relaxing view of lake. Rented pontoon-both adults & kids enjoyed tubing on the lake. Definitely a keeper of great memories.

What a great place for a large group! Although the weather was a little rainy the house was spacious and the screened in porch offered us a bit of the outdoors and a beautiful view of the lake.

We wanted to be close to Chicago, but far enough way from it all to really 'get away.' We love the all-sports lake, private beach, place to dock the boat, Sport Court, mature trees, secluded setting (you really can't see any neighbors), hills for sledding, and more. Kids love it out here. So do adults!
