This beach home is walking distance to the Gulf (2 blocks), the sound (across the street) and local restaurants, bars and shopping (trolly available). Excellent vinue to see the Blue Angels. A sidewalk on the west side leads directly to the beach. The entire house and yard is available for your vacation enjoyment. Back yard is fenced. Parking for up to 6 vehicles is available. Beneath the home is an outdoor patio and area to hang out to BBQ. Indoor/outdoor cat comes with the house. No other animals allowed.

We had a great stay and the location worked perfectly for our trip. The beach was just a short walk away on a nice, easy path, which made it very convenient to enjoy the beautiful shoreline every day. The neighborhood was quiet, and having lots of parking available was a big plus.The beds were comfortable, and the property provided everything we needed for a simple, affordable beach stay. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly place in a great location with easy beach access, this is a solid choice.Our boys especially loved getting to spend time with the sweet cat—they looked forward to the visits, pets, and cuddles each day, which made our stay even more memorable.Thank you for hosting us!

Fabulous Beach House

This place is just Perfect!! The owner was so accomodating and sweet! The location is fabulous. Just steps to the beach, restaurants, shops and the Mardi Gras Parade we were there for. We will definately Stay Here Again!

This home is a full time residence of the hosts/owners, we felt completely uncomfortable like we were staying in the home of a stranger vs a vacation rental. This is something that should have been disclosed in the description of the home. The closets were zip tied closed and the dresser was full of their clothing (socks and underwear), we had nowhere to unpack our suitcases for a 6 night stay. The bedding in the master and the secondary room were coated with dog and cat hair as well as the couches. We were aware and ok with the resident indoor/outdoor cat but did not expect the hair or that the cat would be coming in the pet door in the middle of the night crying loudly. The pillows on the master were discolored (yellow), sticky and had what looked to be chewed holes one of them. The owner did not leave a house key or give us a code to get it, they advised to just leave the back door unlocked. We were not ok with this but after asking a few times for a key we just did this. The owner left prescription medication including insomnia, muscle relaxers and pain pills in the kitchen cabinet. The owner had multiple diffusers with strong smelling essential oil that were not pleasant. The master shower had a lot of mold/mildew. The owner called/text/message me almost daily to either water her tomatoes or allow her to come do it, a few of the times was very disruptive to our vacation. If you want a clean and peaceful VRBO, this is not it. 3000 for 6nights here was not worth it.

We take cleanliness very seriously and wish you had contacted us during your stay regarding concerns about pet hair, bedding, or any maintenance issues so that we could have addressed them immediately. We Vaccuum pet Hair and use a lint roller on all furniture prior to your arrival. We have also reviewed your comments regarding storage space, the cat, and communication during your stay and will use this feedback to evaluate ways to improve the guest experience. Regarding the garden, our requests were intended to maintain the property’s landscaping and food garden, and we apologize if those interactions felt disruptive to your vacation. We appreciate your comments and are continually working to improve the experience for future guests. We wish you all the best in your future travels.

Paradise!

I hate that leaving came so fast when we had to stay. Such a wonderful home, that is well maintained and contained the proper necessities for our entire stay. That beach walk is literally two minutes. Super safe, super fun, and super quiet at night the whole week there which was just absolutely perfect! There is so many great things about this home. Most people want that “beach view” well the convenience of entering the beach with the back & forth with 3 kids trumps all of that view stuff. The owner was fantastic in making sure everything was in place for us. Really really REALLY want to be there again even though I just got home😣. I hope everyone that stays there loves it like my family did!
