Buck the stress and escape to this beautiful private 6 acre retreat located less than 10 minutes from McCaysville and 20 minutes from Blue Ridge! Enjoy your favorite beverage rocking on the porch, bask in the wonders of nature, soak away in the hot tub, cozy up by the fire pit or have a friendly competition in the game room! Make it a full family adventure and take your fur babies hiking the property trails, venture into town or just relax and enjoy the cabin! There is something for everyone!

The Space:
The North GA Mountains offer spectacular views, hiking trails, white water rafting, fishing, tubing, horseback riding and a plethora of other wonderful adventures and activities. Bucking Bison provides the perfect location to enjoy it all!

The cabin is less than five minutes from the Toccoa River, Horseshoe Bend Park, and water adventures. Venture the extra five minutes and you are in downtown McCaysville to enjoy the many restaurants, shops and local breweries. If you want a little more action, cruise into downtown Blue Ridge to enjoy the many shops and restaurants offered there. The beauty of this location, so many places to consider within 20 minutes in all directions.

You will arrive via all paved roads, taking the concrete driveway to your secluded escape! The final small portion of the driveway is gravel, with level parking for up to four vehicles. Be sure to say hi to Bucky the Bison, as he welcomes you to the cabin!

A code will be provided one day prior to your arrival. The entry is up the stairs, to the door on the left. The cozy cabin feel will embrace you upon entering with high vaulted ceilings, rustic furniture, and all the comforts of home!

The living area features a sofa, loveseat, side tables, 70” Smart TV all surrounding the amazing stone wood burning fireplace. Just off the living area is the dining room with a table for six.

The fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances including: Refrigerator, electric stove/oven, microwave and dishwasher. There are two different coffee options including a drip coffee maker and Keurig (K cups are provided).

The deck is directly off the living area with a large covered space featuring a gas grill, rockers, bar top table and great views of the surrounding mountain landscape. Be sure to check out all of the great yard art with Sasquatch and other local wildlife. Don’t fret, there will be plenty of real wildlife to appreciate and observe in their natural habitat. For your convenience, the deck is gated.

The first of three bedrooms is located to the left of the living area. It is a king master suite, with a dresser, chair, 55” smart TV, and closet. The bathroom has dual vanities and tub/shower combo.

The upper level has a loft with a queen futon and workstation overlooking the mountains. Cuddle up with a great book or if you have to stay in touch, at least it's a workstation with a view!

The second king master suite is at the top of the stairs to the left with nightstands, lamps, closet, large screen TV and chair. The bathroom is a single vanity with tub/shower combo.

The entertainment starts on the lower level with a complete game room with air hockey, foosball, darts and several favorite board games. There is a bar table, couch, coffee table, end tables, lamps and large screen smart TV. There is an additional cooling/heating split unit with a wall remote to keep the temperature just right for the family fun!

The third queen bedroom is down the hall to your left. It has nightstands, lamps, dresser and smart TV, so you can escape to your happy place, wind down and enjoy the perfect night's sleep.

The third bathroom is also down the hall to the right with a single vanity and walk-in shower.

The laundry room is at the end of the hall to the right with a washer, dryer, laundry basket and complimentary laundry pods.

A five person hot tub is provided on the concrete patio to relax and reminisce about your day or just enjoy the peace and quiet surrounding you. There are two additional seats, stand up propane heater and access to a swing and picnic table as well.

A family vacation wouldn’t be complete without your fur babies. The cabin is dog friendly (no puppies please) for up to two under 50 lbs. The owner kindly asks that you crate your fur babies while away and to not allow them on the beds or furniture.

Another great offering is the fire pit, just off the front porch, with comfortable seating. Roast marshmallows, catch up with family and friends, or just enjoy the stars!

Guest Access:
Access is via keyless entry. A check-in code will be provided 1 day prior to arrival. Checkout code will be provided the day before with instructions.

The Neighborhood:
Access to the property is paved roads leading to concrete drive to gravel parking areas. There are other properties but not visible during spring/summer/fall.

This property is conveniently located minutes from downtown Mccaysville and Copperhill and other attractions including: Mercier Orchards, Blue Ridge Adventure Park, Aska region, shopping, restaurants, white water rafting, tubing, horseback riding, and much more. Other properties are in the neighborhood. We ask that you please respect the owners privacy and comply with private property signs.

Pets:
All pets must be kept on a leash when outside. Poop bags and dog bowls are provided for your furry family members.

Trash and Litter:
Trash pickup service is provided on Tuesday and Friday. If the trash cans are full upon arrival, please contact the property management office. All trash must be bagged and placed into the two trash cans provided. Our nature friends love to make a mess when this is not done and the trash companies will not pick up loose trash. Also if you exceed the capacity of the trash cans before pickup it is your responsibility to remove and take to the disposal locations at:

Quiet time:
Please keep your noise to a minimum between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. both inside and outside. This includes hot tubs, fire pits, and porches. Sound travels easily in the mountains and can disturb unseen guests.

Smoking Policy:
It is allowed outside (please pickup your butts) but NON SMOKING inside the property and hot tub.

Cancellation Policy:
Credit card processing fees are non refundable for VRBO and Direct reservations.
