We were transferred to The Prickly Pear.
Pros: Customer service/communication was great, my questions were always answered in less than an hour, and when our unit had problems we were transferred to a different one. The area was nice and quiet, there were other cabins there so it wasn't so secluded but we didn't mind as everyone there obeyed the quiet hours. The unit was moderately clean. Handicap friendly, ramps and standing showers.
Cons: Take these with a grain of salt as these units seem new so there are things that may be different down the line.
There was no peephole on the door, it was just a drilled hole in the door. The door did not feel sturdy. The door was also not airtight meaning humidity and bugs outside could get in. The lock also didn't sit right in the door creating a gap but it was secure.
The unit inside had some humidity in it and continued to be a bit humid throughout our stay. It also smelled vaguely of second-hand smoke. The back door wouldn't close properly unless it was forced to. The couch had a rip and was dirty underneath the cushion area. There were cat/dog hairs on the mattresses and a stain on one of them. The tub drain wouldn't shut properly meaning every time you tried to fill it it wouldn't fill. There was no dish soap or sponge, and there was no plunger/toilet brush or bathroom trashcan in any bathroom. There was also only one trash bag for the unit for the entirety of our stay.
Overall, small overlooked details but it was ok.
